Kuqa Chaoshi Wanhua International Hotel

The hotel facilities are quite new, and the cleanliness is excellent. We particularly liked the family rooms, which came with comfortable mattresses and a well-designed bathroom featuring separate wet and dry areas. On the downside, breakfast was just average, and there were a lot of tour groups around. The location is also a bit of a distance from the old town.

## Pros: 1. The hotel boasts an excellent location with a massive parking lot, making it incredibly convenient for self-driving travelers. 2. The surrounding area is well-developed with a comprehensive array of amenities, including countless restaurants, supermarkets, fruit shops, and pharmacies, ensuring guests have no shortage of dining and shopping options. 3. The central air conditioning in the rooms is remarkably quiet – arguably the quietest in all of Southern Xinjiang. Even on the lowest fan setting, it produces virtually no noise, which is a huge benefit for light sleepers or those sensitive to noise at night. ## Cons: 1. The quality of service has noticeably declined since the hotel's initial opening. 2. There was an unpleasant odor emanating from the room's drain. 3. The towels provided were old and worn, and the toilet paper in the bathroom was of very poor quality. 4. The laundry room and gym are awkwardly crammed into a single small space with insufficient equipment. With only two washing machines, guests often have to wait in line until the early hours of the morning to do their laundry. It would be much more practical to remove two treadmills and add more washing machines.

The location is a bit far from the walkable historic district. The hotel itself has a grand feel. A big thank you to the lady at the front desk for upgrading my room! However, some in-room facilities felt dated. For instance, the shower hose leaked at its connection, and the bedside power outlet was so loose that plugs wouldn't stay in. Breakfast wasn't particularly good. Overall, the room was acceptable.

We arrived quite late, but overall the hotel's rooms were very good. It offered incredibly high value for money, being the most affordable hotel we stayed at throughout our Xinjiang journey. We slept very comfortably.

The room was spacious and spotless, and the hotel also provides ample parking. There are also many dining options nearby, with Ma You Yu conveniently located downstairs, where we ended up eating twice. However, the breakfast was quite mediocre. The selection was limited and didn't really live up to the hotel's standards; there wasn't even any freshly ground coffee.

This is considered one of the larger hotels in the area. Its location is excellent, and parking is very convenient with both above-ground and underground options available. Downstairs, you'll find a supermarket and various restaurants, all at reasonable prices, which is a huge plus for convenience. Overall, it offers good value for money.
