I visited Oberwiesenthal and stayed at Jens Weissflog‘s Appartment Hotel. As a former ski jumper he themed the hotel in a very special style and furnished it with lots of taste. I knew the surroundings, the beautiful countryside, from my childhood and was charmed again. In summer for hiking and in winter for skiing an ideal place. The rooms are big and comfy, the service is excellent and the menu at the restaurant is a travel around the (ski) world. I highly recommend the hotel.

Das Hotel ist schon prima. Herr Weissflog hat überall Fotos und Relikte seiner aktiven Karriere ausgestellt. Wunderbar für Diejenigen, die ihn aus dem Fernsehen kennen. Die Zimmer haben auch Namen von Orten, die eine Sprungschanze haben. Das Zimmer war geräumig, mit Balkon und separatem WC. Das Bad war ebenfalls geräumig. Das Frühstücksangebot war ebenfalls sehr gut. Gut gestärkt kann man zur Wanderung aufbrechen. Hervorzuheben ist ebenfalls das sehr freundliche Personal! Fazit: Wunderbarer Ausgangspunkt für Wanderungen! Der Inhaber war auch anwesend!

Zuerst muss ich die sehr gemütliche Ruhelounge hervorheben. Das Hotel liegt idyllisch mit freien Blick auf Keil- und Fichtelberg, hier beginnen Loipen und Skipiste. Das Personal ist in allen Bereichen sehr nett. Im sehr gemütlichen Restaurant sind alle Speisen hervorragend. Die Zimmer sind groß und gemütlich. Abstriche muss man im Saunabereich machen, welcher klein und nicht mehr so modern wirkt. Ein Pool oder Whirlpool fehlen leider. Tipp: Saunabereich modernisieren, z.B. mit einer gemütlichen Blocksauna im Stiel der Ruhelounge und einen großen Whirlpool. Sonst ist alles hervorragend!

Sehr große, geschmackvoll eingerichtete (mit viel Liebe zum Detail) Junior-Suite mit getrenntem Bad und WC. Sehr freundliche Menschen, vom Chef über Rezeption, Servicepersonal (inkl. Küche) und Zimmermädchen. Vielen Dank! Ein echtes Team was gern seine Arbeit macht und was man auch gespürt hat. Sehr gutes Frühstück und Abendessen (a la carte). Hervorzuheben ist noch die große Relax-Lounge. Das Hotel können wir nur weiterzuempfehlen. Es gibt genug kostenfreie Parkplätze direkt am Haus. Alles war perfekt.

Auch wenn die Vergangenheit des Hauses nicht zum Wohlfühlen einlädt, ist es den jetzigen Eigentümern gelungen, eine sehr angenehme Atmosphäre zu schaffen, die zum Entspannen einlädt. Die individuell gestalteten Zimmer, sind sehr groß und strahlen trotzdem eine Wohlfühlatmosphäre aus, wie man sie nur selten findet. Einziges Manko: für mich ein bisschen zu viel Starkult, aber das mag für andere Menschen ein Grund sein, überhaupt zu kommen.

Tolles Hotel, immer freundliches Personal im Restaurant, Zimmer und Wellnessbereich. Alles sehr liebevoll gestaltet rund um das Thema „Skispringen und Jens Weißflog“. Sowohl in den Zimmern/Appartements als auch auf der Speisekarte, die allein schon ein Besuch wert ist!!

In Coronazeiten haben es alle schwer, besonders die Gastronomen und Hoteliers. Wir unterstützen euch gern, und wenn es im Moment "nur" durch regelmäßiges Essen und Trinken funktioniert. Ihr seid wichtig für Oberwiesenthal und die gesamte Region. Ihr habt alle Verordnungen, die unsinnigen musstet ihr auch tolerieren, umgesetzt, bei euch fühlt man sich sehr gut betreut und sicher.
