We spent a wonderful, relaxing few days in La Central, with our two dogs. There are plenty of fantastic walks around the hotel, which we, and especially, the dogs loved. We really enjoyed our breakfasts and the two dinners we had in the hotel. Mireia is wonderful and was always available to help us, answer our questions etc as were the other staff members. Macanet de Cabrenys is well worth visiting, as is the historic town of La Vajol...though it is a fairly scary drive up.

I stayed at the Hotel & Spa La Central with my wife during the last Easter holiday. My reservation, which I paid in advance through ******* (Hoteles.com), started Thursday April 6, but when I arrived, the hotel was closed. I called the reception and they said that Hoteles.com was selling unauthorized reservations for that day. It was late at night and I had to drive for an hour to find another hotel in the area. The next day, I came back and the nice staff at the front desk advised me to ask for a refund with Hoteles.com. Since then, I've been trying to get back the money I've paid in advance for the first day of my reservation. At Hoteles.com they say that they can't talk to the accommodation and so the policy of my reservation doesn't allow a refund.

I went to check it out for a massage. A hideous building, disorganized and badly run. Staff attitudes are strange if not quite offhand. I eventually got a coffee which I had the misfortune to drink as my whole body rejected it, and I hate to think what state the machine was in. Certainly wasn't going to allow anyone there to touch my body. Expanded foam repair to a tree was about par for course and quite funny.

lo único positivo; desayuno. Al llegar una olor a cloaca, la governanta, bruta. La habitación vieja y muy dejada. Lavabo pequeño y poco límpio con moho.El colchón se le notava los muelles del somier. comida mala y cara y sin nevera.

Fui a comer y hacerme un masaje y fué genial. Se adaptaron a mi dieta vegana perfectamente y el masajista Joel fué increíble. Excelente trato por parte de la directora Carmen. Un placer conoceros, volveré. Gracias por todo, nos vemos muy pronto. PD: Admiten mascotas y no niños, ¿se puede pedir más? El peludo se lo pasó genial en el río.

Très belle surprise ! Cadre magnifique et calme. Idéal pour se ressourcer. Personnel accueillant et sympathique. Concernant le restaurant, les plats sont bon, et les prix abordables. Seul bémol, lors de votre arrivée attention car le gps fait passer par des chemin, qui sont a la limite du praticable ( pour une voiture lambda) alors qu’une route existe bien. Mention spécial au supplément Spa qui vaut vraiment le détour, Jacuzzi, Sauna et Haman donnant offrant une vue imprenable sur les roches et la rivière !
