Great location by the water. Next to grocery store which is great. Vallet service is helpful

Wonderful place to stay. Was under construction on parts but nothing too bad. Rain became a bit of an issue with a roof leak but didn’t change anything. Place will be amazing after the renovations.

Location, location, location! The ocean front location is absolutely gorgeous! Several Rooms are dated but the hotel is under renovation and the new rooms are coming out gorgeous. I’ve been here 4 times and continue to return because of the gorgeous location.

Just caught off guard with the oldest room. But I get it they need to make there cash. A deal could have been given but oh well will try another hotel another time. Patio was kinda sketch

The staff at Laguna Riviera were so welcoming, helpful, and kind! We enjoyed the beautiful bedroom view of the coast, the relaxing sound of the ocean, the complimentary coffee bar, and most of all, the hot tub area! We are so pleased with our experience here and would definitely recommend this resort to our friends. We will be back next time we are in the area!

What is advertised vs what is realized, very different. Staff was very nice but not nice enough to make up for years of poor maintenance and lack of updating.

Extraordinary location on the beach, so that all exterior areas are lovely. However, our room was sort of funky. I booked a room with a balcony and the photo of the room showed a large room with a balcony overlooking the ocean. In fact, what we got was a very small room, cheaply and sp****ly furnished, with the roof of the room below us obscuring about half of our ocean view, and no balcony. Parking is 38 bucks and there is a 20 dollar "property fee" whatever that is. Buuut, the place does have a sort of 1970s Laguna Beach vibe. . .and the location. . . . Would I stay here again? Well, there's a lot to be said for the sound of the surf rocking you to sleep. If they'd give me a room with an actual balcony and full ocean view, sure.

It was an enjoyable stay. The service they gave us that night was excellent and helpful.
