Maple Leaf Inn Lake Placid

A bit of comfort The room was very "simple" yet extremely clean. The crisp white room and bed made it a very pleasing environment. Bed was very comfortable. The bathroom seemed newly tiled with very nice fixtures. No room key necessary because we were sent a code to enter our room. Restaurants are within walking distance.

******* was supposed to contact the property and cancel my booking due to an error that I immediately saw after booking the wrong night on expedia's confusing sight. I did not check in because I did not stay here, but got charged despite calling the property and leaving a message and also asking ******* to handle this on chat (which they assured me they would try to take care of but still have not)

Check in was easy and efficient, the place was super conveniently located. The space was also huge for the price and exactly what I needed for my stay. Would recommend and stay again!

it was priced reasonably for the Lake Placid area and it was a good location. They were skimpy on the bath towels, there wasn't a floor mat or hand towels or wash cloths just a pair of bath towels. Also. it took a while the get the TV working as it took some steps to get it done. They should have the instructions on the TV to help future people who stay there and a list of the Apps that worked would be nice also instead of having the try each one to see if the hotel had a subscription or not. There was a lot of light coming in both windows even with the shades down which woke me up early every morning no breakfast either but there was a McDonalds about 4 minutes walking distance away other than that it did the job but for some very inexpensive little things this could have been a better stay for future travelers.

No hot water for sink or shower, microwave not connected, tv didn’t work, Wi-Fi connection (outlet) non-functional, no washcloths!

Good Value Exterior is run down and in need of restoration, but the interior room was recently renovated, extremely clean, comfortable and adequately appointed. Definitely worth the rate.
