A spur-of-the-moment trip to Langkawi turned out to be full of pleasant surprises, mostly thanks to this Ritz-Carlton. The scenery is absolutely stunning. I highly recommend staying in a villa; having the ocean right in front of you is an incredible experience. But what truly left the deepest impression was the staff's genuine warmth and enthusiasm. Every single person was so welcoming and passionate, it made me feel like they genuinely loved working there. My only minor suggestion would be to perhaps increase the number of staff on the beach, as they seemed a bit scarce at times. On a side note, the dining options were quite reasonably priced for a hotel of this caliber. Overall, it's definitely worth a stay.

We had the absolute pleasure of spending our honeymoon at The Ritz-Carlton Langkawi for 5 days, and from the moment we entered the resort until the time we checked out, everything was simply outstanding.
The warmth and friendliness of every single staff member truly made our stay memorable. We were delighted to receive an upgrade to a beautiful ocean-facing suite, which was thoughtfully decorated with honeymoon touches and accompanied by a heartfelt handwritten note – such a personal and meaningful gesture that instantly made us feel special.
On our first night, we dined at Horizon, where the amazing team surprised us with another handwritten note and a complimentary dessert. This level of attention and genuine care continued throughout our stay. The buggy staff were always so cheerful, friendly, and willing to help at any time, adding to the seamless experience around the resort.
One of the highlights of our trip was the spa – simply outstanding. The setting, service, and overall experience left us completely relaxed and rejuvenated.
Every detail of our stay was handled with such care and thoughtfulness, and the genuine hospitality of the Ritz-Carlton Langkawi team made our honeymoon unforgettable. We cannot recommend this resort enough and are already looking forward to returning one day.

This is a truly secluded hotel. I was drawn by the photos of the birdcage, which turned out to be a massage area, and I had a wonderful spa session there. There are many monkeys at the hotel; I left some fruit on the balcony, which attracted a group of them to play and wrestle. Their infinity pool is stunning and cleaned twice daily, though sometimes the Indonesian staff can be a little careless, missing monkey droppings. Another downside is the lack of Chinese-speaking staff. Unfortunately, the Haiyan breakfast area seemed to be under renovation, so I wasn't able to try it, which was a pity!

Overall, a great experience. They offer free valet parking, and the hotel is nestled in a lush forest, offering breathtaking views. We loved having little visitors like monkeys 🐒 and squirrels 🐿️ on our balcony every day. The breakfast was healthy and delicious; the lobster omelet comes highly recommended!
