This hotel is well located, the exception is clean and modern, likewise the rooms. We had a 3 bed room, which was spacious, warm, clean and quiet. The big problem we encountered was with the booking and payment. We booked via the Accord app, the company that runs Ibis, and paid in advance a few days before travelling. When we arrived they had no record of our reservation or payment. We were told this happens often enough. Fortunately, they had a spare room but I imagine there are occasions when they don't. We were asked to pay again for the room and to complete a form asking for a refund, which it seemed would arrive tomorrow. When we asked the next day we were told that the refund would take time, we only got a copy of the form to prove the refund because we demanded it. This is not at all how to treat customers, especially when booking in the dedicate app. I am still awaiting a refund 5 days later and contacting anyone with a complaint is tiresome and obscure, no customer service details anywhere in the website. All in all, good room extremely poor customer service.
