La Quinta Inn by Wyndham Las Cruces Mesilla Valley

The room had nothing but two towels and a roll of toilet paper. NOTHING ELSE. They might be in the process of renovating… I hope that’s the case… But nothing was mentioned. In my travels over the last year I had begun to appreciate La Quinta returning to being a pleasant and safe motel as they were when the chain opened. Definitely not theCase with this property. The worst part was the fact that the door lock mechanism was loose and broken on the inside! Along with very poor lighting on the property.

Room was clean but hallways were filthy. Outside trash cans were overflowing and never emptied during our stay. Fitness center is small but has brand new equipment. Complimentary breakfast was decent. Shower was standard, however it had great pressure and was nice and hot. Overall, its a decent place to crash, but nothing special.

No breakfast is provided even though they advertise it is included. I was told by the manager it was due to a broken refrigerator. The room was up to date and clean, with a comfortable bed. When I arrived at my room the air conditioner was on and set to 60°. It is wintertime so the room was freezing. I switch the air unit to heat and set thermostat to 75°. The room was cold all night and never got above 65°. It was not a comfortable night's sleep. LaQuinta's are normally a great place to stay. This one was an exception.

The place s basically shut down for construction. So they am everyone on one side and all facilities were shut down. They had one person working and when their shift ended no front staff until 8 am the next day. No breakfast offered, yet when you rent the place it said it was offered.

Unfortunately my room had no heat and there was no one at the front desk to be found. My shower also did not work great. It had very little pressure and the spout was broken to fill the bath tub up. My room was also not vacuumed.

Outside and he lobby was not well lighted, Lobby men's room was filthy and did not looked like it had been cleaned in weeks. People setting outside of their rooms on chairs yelling at each other . After walking back to view my room, i decided not to stay there and told the desk clerk I would not be staying there and went down the road and got another Motel room. I would appreciate a refund.

Checked in our room and no heater. Got a new room and still no heater. Staff working that night seemed like they didn’t know what they was doing. No complimentary breakfast nor coffee for anyone.

The property is in absolute horrible condition our first room didn’t have heat and was dirty or second room was missing the air vent so the filter was hanging out of the roof the floors were dirty and had a bad smell the bed was not bad but had some stains on the linen the side entrance doors didn’t work with a card so you had only the main entrance for access the staff were very nice and courteous the parking lot had homeless people sleeping in it as they are everywhere in that area it’s a place to stay in a pinch but would definitely look elsewhere

The full hot breakfast was not available due to “maintenance”. Would have been nice to know this before booking. There were no drinking cups in the room or Kleenex.
