The Resort is quite nice with a large pool, extensive water features and a plethora of flowers and plants in the garden. Room was decent. Service was good. Food at the restaurant for breakfast and dinner was very mediocre.

One lady at the reception at check-in and check-out was very unpleasant. The room was not completely clean, mold in the toilet and in the shower inside the soap dish. The restaurant is rarely stocked and I had raw meat twice. Apart from that, the rest of the staff is pleasant and professional though. Not worth the price.

The resort is not modern kind, the bathroom limestone floor is a little stain with tint smell due to aging. As its hidden in deep in forest, we encounter a giant lizard during our check in into the room. But nevertheless, we enjoy our stay here, it just we imagine that it will be more enjoyable if its a sunny day with the signature mountain view. We love the warm service provided by the staff.

The surrounding terraced fields and primeval forests are amazing. It is like the name implies, a beautiful hotel hidden in the forest. But there are still a lot of insects in the forest, and the facilities are seriously eroded by the power of the forest. When we went there, there were not many people in the hotel during the Spring Festival holiday. The surrounding villagers are also very friendly, but you may have to endure the religious content played on the loudspeakers in the surrounding villages at three or four in the middle of the night.

Very beautiful but scary.
I feel a little regretful for the 800+ room during the Spring Festival.
Advantages✔️:
1. The scenery of the hotel is really beautiful. I personally think it is more impressive than the Ubud Rice Terraces.
2. The hotel staff is also very enthusiastic. Because we have to go to Ijen at 1 a.m., they will take the initiative to pack breakfast (but the food is hard to describe).
3. The fried rice in the restaurant at night is delicious.
Disadvantages❌:
1. It is really too "secluded"! It takes about an hour to drive from Ijen, and there is a long path to the hotel.
2. Too close to nature, including seeing a dead fly on the quilt after dinner, and finding a small spider crawling on the quilt when I was ready to go to bed... I understand that these are inevitable in the forest terraces, but for children who grow up in the city, these are a bit too scary. Fortunately, I slept until 1 a.m. and set off.
3. The quilt is very wet. It feels like it is because of the rainy season + living in the forest terraces. The whole house feels damp.
Considering the price overall, it is not particularly recommended. It should be more suitable for friends who are not afraid of insects and like to be close to nature.

The environment is so amazing! When I woke up in the morning, I saw the terraced fields outside the window, like a paradise. If you come from Bromo, it takes nearly an hour to get to the hotel through the Ijen pass. The next day, you have to go back and forth for another hour to climb the mountain. You have to pay attention to the itinerary.
