We stayed here during the summer vacation. The first night was a group-buy package, costing around 1400 per room. For the second night, we booked a high-floor seaview room via Ctrip, which was over 2000.
The first room we were in still had sand on the floor. On the second day, we switched rooms, only to find the previous guest's socks still drying on the balcony. That evening, the front desk called to solicit feedback. After I shared my comments, they sent up a fruit platter and offered a complimentary late check-out.
And then there's breakfast. When we got to the breakfast area, it felt less like a hotel breakfast and more like a convention for WeChat entrepreneurs.
This hotel is really something else... As for the bathtub on the balcony – if you're brave enough to use it, you'll be putting on a full-on reality show. It's completely exposed to the outside, a truly 'open-concept' feature tub.
Overall, given the summer vacation pricing, the value for money is definitely low.

As a Ctrip VIP member, having a dedicated service desk and a personal butler during our stay was a definite plus. However, the hotel's decor was a bit odd, more reminiscent of a KTV private room, and it lacked a certain warmth. While it boasts an aquatic play area and an indoor playground, which many hotels don't have, the waterslides are a pretty standard feature elsewhere, so it didn't really exceed our expectations. On the positive side, the on-site restaurants offered decent food – particularly Bolai and the coconut chicken dishes – and the prices were reasonable, making dining very convenient. And finally, the beach: the sand at Clear Water Bay is truly fantastic. With its clear blue waters and skies, it offered the most beautiful sea view I've seen in Hainan.

Vaperse is a locally styled family friendly hotel. It comes with a splash park, a small water park with moderately exciting slides, as well as an indoor soft play room. The rooms are well appointed though the decor is quite loud and flamboyant. The ice bar at the lobby comes with decently priced drinks and live music in the evening. I would recommend this hotel for families with children.

Very very good hotel, one of the bast in Sanya. Second year we stay there , very good service. Good beach. Breakfast is ok. Dinner one of the best and good price!

Our stay was absolute joy! The staff, rooms, restaurant, facilities, pools were all superb. I've never stayed at a hotel with friendlier, more helpful staff. Everyone from the cleaners to the reception staff would greet you with a polite "你好". Friendly staff make a huge difference!! I want to mention the Room Manager Aya who was incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable as possible.
My family and I would 100% go back. Thank you everyone at Vaperse for the wonderful experience!

We had an extremely disappointing experience at this hotel. Despite making a full payment through Trip.com at the time of reservation for 3 rooms, the hotel staff demanded another full payment upon our arrival. Even after checking out of the hotel on November 21st 2024, I have yet to receive a full refund from Trip.com, as the hotel staff had assured us. This lack of professionalism and transparency caused unnecessary stress during our stay.
Furthermore, the security guard refused to let us alight at the main driveway in front of the hotel lobby to drop off our luggage, claiming that it would "block the hotel’s feng shui" as per their boss’s instructions. However, we observed many other cars and guests doing so. This left us scrambling to find an alternative while managing our heavy bags to check into the hotel.
Such behaviour is not only inconsiderate but also unacceptable in a service-oriented industry. We will avoid staying at this hotel in the future.
