"This was the worst value-for-money hotel on our Sanya-Haikou-Wanning-Lingshui trip. The room cost over 2,000 yuan, but it felt like it was only worth 700-800 yuan. We didn't get our room until 4:30 PM, and a whole crowd of people were waiting impatiently. They offered afternoon tea, which consisted of only a few cakes (some even seemed moldy), stale fruit, and three drinks (two of which were not fresh squeezed juice). The water park was tiny and couldn't compare to Atlantis. The indoor kids' playground was large but lacked interesting facilities and some were a bit old. The hotel is divided into East and West Wings. The sky pool and water world are on the West Wing, but we were assigned to the East Wing. Due to the hotel's design, it was a very long walk to get anywhere. The breakfast selection was decent, nothing special. As for service, there was generally no proactive service, but they did fulfill guests' requests. Overall, it doesn't have the standard of a star-rated hotel; it's more like a slightly larger guesthouse. It's miles away from Atlantis. I definitely won't be coming back. I didn't attach photos because the experience was so bad I didn't even feel like taking any. Oh, and the complimentary photo shoot we were offered didn't happen due to bad weather, and the hotel showed no intention of offering any compensation. I usually don't bother leaving reviews unless I'm extremely satisfied or extremely disappointed."

"I came out to relax on May Day. The store owner was warm and attentive, and chose the room I wanted for free. The room facilities are quite complete, including air conditioning, hot water, washing machine, detergent, etc., and you can see the Freedom Lighthouse from the room. The community is not far from the dining area and the beach, and the accommodation area is relatively quiet. When there are problems, the store owner will also enthusiastically help solve them. Thank you for mailing the dormitory key that I left behind (……) One thing to note is that if food (especially sweet) is placed on the table, it may attract ants (after all, it’s Hainan, there’s nothing you can do about it). It’s best to finish the food you buy as soon as possible and dispose of the garbage ww"

The room is not the kind of feeling that covers the clean smell with fragrance, and the bathroom and sink are also very clean. The new store facilities are one aspect, but it is more important to keep it clean. I found that this store has a feature, that is, things may not be displayed with a big brand for you, but they are not bad in practice. I was going to bring shampoo and bathing, and finally the hotel used it directly. I can feel that their idea of choosing things is not to look expensive, but to really choose things I am willing to use. I like this small details."

"This is, without a doubt, the worst booking experience I've ever had on Trip.com! As a Trip.com Diamond VIP, I always expect the best in accommodations, dining, and travel. I booked this cliffside villa specifically for its renowned infinity pool, but what I got was pure deception and a total rip-off. Just look at the price – over 8,000 for two nights! We don't care about the cost, but we felt utterly insulted by the experience. It's an old, dilapidated villa with a musty smell that permeated the room all night. And those peeling walls? How can you justify charging over 4,000 a night for this? I put up with the first night, but when I tried to cancel the second night and move out, I was told it wasn't possible! I even have a video of the 'wonderful' noise – the exhaust fan, clearly on its last legs. And apparently, the hotel is changing its name now, so be very careful when booking. There are so many other bad things to mention, but honestly, I'm too tired to even type them out."

"The service was excellent. Our butler, Amner, added me on WeChat in advance and sent details about the hotel's facilities, location, and activity schedule. He was also very responsive to any questions I had during our stay. The breakfast bakery section was delicious, with lots of flaky pastries, and even freshly ground coffee. On our last day, we switched to another hotel in Yalong Bay of a similar price, and their breakfast was clearly all pre-made. The public areas at Indigo are also beautiful and great for photos. The gym and steam room were also very good (the other hotel in Yalong Bay even had a broken one). I'll definitely come back to Indigo next time I'm in Lingshui. Having visited Hainan 5 times, Indigo is currently my favorite hotel."

"My first trip to Sanya was absolutely stunning, thanks to Capella! It's definitely the top choice for families with kids, and the ocean-view room was breathtaking! This was our first time bringing our two-year-old to Sanya, and after thorough research, we chose Capella – and it proved to be the perfect decision! We stayed for a whole week, and the first 4 nights in the ocean-view room were simply amazing. Stepping out onto the balcony, you're greeted by an endless expanse of ocean. Waking up to that view every day put me in such a great mood. The room itself was incredibly spacious; even on rainy days, there was plenty of room for our baby to run and play. We could lay out several suitcases on the floor without feeling cramped at all. Capella's attention to detail was exceptional. Besides the routine morning cleaning, there was also a super ritualistic evening turndown service, with fresh towels and water replenished promptly. The main pool is fantastic for photos in swimwear! There were lifeguards on duty constantly, and they even helped inflate swimming rings. Towels were already laid out on the lounge chairs, so you could dry off immediately after swimming and avoid catching a cold. The sand on the beach was incredibly fine and soft; it felt so comfortable to walk on barefoot. Our baby loved digging in the sand so much that she didn't want to leave. And I must commend the Thai restaurant for its food! The grilled sea bass was absolutely divine, and the shaved ice was so refreshing in the summer heat. The service was also incredibly thoughtful; when we asked for plain boiled noodles for our baby, the kitchen prepared them for free. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of Chinese and Western dishes. That sour and spicy 'zaopo cu' (vinegar soup) was so appetizing; it felt like it could go with anything! It happened to be my and my husband's birthdays during our stay, and the hotel not only surprised us with a delicious, not-too-sweet birthday cake but also specially prepared longevity noodles for breakfast. It was both surprising and incredibly touching! The beachfront BBQ in the evening also had a wonderful ambiance, and we ate so much we could barely move. Most importantly, I want to thank our butler, Sky! She contacted us even before check-in, providing a super comprehensive map, details on the three ceremonies, and reservation guides. During our stay, she was warm, thoughtful, and meticulous. Any requests we had were handled incredibly quickly, and her responses were super prompt. Thank you, Sky, for your attentive care these past few days. We'll definitely stay here again next time we're in Sanya!"

"A hidden gem of a hotel! Room & Amenities: The 70-square-meter king room is spacious and comfortable. The 2-meter king bed paired with buckwheat pillows made for a deeply restful sleep. The bathroom features a wet-and-dry separation layout with dual vanities—great attention to detail. Cleanliness: Impeccable. Every nook and cranny of the room was spotless. The housekeeping staff always greeted us with a smile, making our stay feel so heartwarming. Maintenance: Although it has some years under its belt, the hotel is exceptionally well-maintained. The public areas are grand, and the ocean and garden views are wonderfully soothing. Dining: The coconut chicken hot pot had a sweet, authentic broth and tender chicken. The breakfast at the Western restaurant was abundant, especially the pastries. The freshly cooked Lingshui sour noodles and local Ching Po Leung (coconut herbal soup) are also definitely worth a try. Service: The bellhop proactively helped with our luggage. Our butler, Kelly, was responsive to every request with super-fast turnaround times, and even reached out before check-in to follow up on our preferences. Location & Transportation: About a 70-minute drive from Sanya Airport. There are free shuttle buses to the duty-free shop and the airport—just remember to book a day in advance. Parking: Free surface and underground parking spaces are available, along with EV charging piles. Very convenient for self-driving trips. Conclusion: The overall experience exceeded expectations. I've already recommended it to my friends, will definitely stay here again next time, and highly recommend it!"

Cleanliness: Clean, tidy, and odor-free; excellent lighting and ventilation. Service: Warm and attentive, no hidden charges. I always stay at this hotel when I come to Lingshui. It's comfortable and relaxing, and it's cured my indecisiveness. Today, when I checked out, the hotel manager warmly welcomed me and helped with the check-out process. When I asked about a nearby convenience store, he even gave me two bottles of chilled mineral water. There were electric scooters blocking our car at the entrance, and the handsome hotel manager immediately moved them for us and reminded us to take our belongings. In short, I highly recommend it; it's great value for money. I'll definitely come again."

"This was the worst and most expensive Wyndham I've ever stayed at. Here's my feedback: 1. The soundproofing in the room was incredibly poor. I could hear something dropping on the floor next door, and I was woken up in the middle of the night by a baby crying. 2. When checking in, the two gentlemen at the front desk were very arrogant and had terrible customer service. They replied with "I don't know" to every question. The housekeeping staff were all interns. On the other hand, a young man named Fu in the kitchen was very enthusiastic and answered all my questions. 3. The breakfast was awful, and there was a limited variety of items. Overall, it felt like I paid 700-800 RMB for a hotel with amenities and service worth only 200 RMB."
