Accommodation was in a great locaition. 15 minutes uphill walk to the Chora, or 2 minutes into the harbour of Pera Gialos with shops, bars, restaurants and a small beach.
Accom had everything you need, good aircon, balcony. kitchenette etc. Beds were comfy,
The host wasn't brilliant at communication, that said he was kind enough to pick us up from the port and gave us a gift when we left. It took a few emails to get a response from him, but he was great when we did.
My only other minor gripe is that the shower could have been cleaner. I used one of the free toothbrushes to give it a scrub before we used it. The rest of the room was very clean.
All in all the location was great and the host was kind. I would stay again if I had the good fortune to return to Astypalia, which is an absolute gem of an island.

There was a mistake for the room we booked, but then they left us to stay in a bigger apartment (so it was good, but the 1st day they tell us that unfortunately we should change after 2 days... and it could be a problem. Fortunately they solved the problem). We had 4 good days, the location is perfect and the view is fantastic. About the apartment there are some problems about maintenance:
(Air conditioned with leaking water, malfunctioning shower and not very hot water, towel rack falling off, sink cabinet in bad shape...) They need to do maintenance work, but unfortunately this is common in greek's islands.

Absolutely breath taking view from our classy spacious room to the Aegean sea and the Chora of Asypalea. Great facility, with an amazing owner that was so friendly and helpful one would think he is not true! A great experience in an amazing island......GO ASYPALEA!!!!

Caldera Rooms has the most picturesque view of any accommodation on the island. In my picture you can see the beauty of the full moon shining on the ocean and in the background the stunning castle that overlooks the island with a beautiful church right in the middle of it. It’s not only the view that wins you over but most importantly it’s the warm reception of the hosts. They fulfill the definition of Greek hospitality to the fullest. You must also visit their diner at Livadi beach, called “Τα Τραπέζια Έξω”. Try the lemon pie it is by far the most delicious I have ever had. Anthony, Irene, Antonia & George we cannot thank you enough for our perfect family getaway ❤️

What a great place to stay. We enjoyed our stay at the split level apartment and we wish we could stay more. Beautiful and big room with all comforts, super clean, two balconies above the sea. The views of the sea and the town where amazing, we spent most of our time at the balconies. This is the place to stay in Astypalaia. Antonis, the owner of the studios, was helpful, friendly and very kind. We highly recommend it, if we get back to Astypalaia, this will be our place.

The property is great. Close to town (400 mtrs). View across the bay is spectacular and watching the huge ferries come in & out was fascinating. And that scenery up the hill to the castle is dreamlike. Best part is Antonios, the owner. He was so helpful.

Absolutely brilliant studio on this gorgeous island. Owners are incredible. The pool looks over the ocean. The large supermarket is across the road. Beds are clean, shower is great. It's not in the main part of town so we walked alot but absolutely loved staying here.

Ότι καλύτερο μπορεί να ζητήσει κανείς στη χώρα της αστυπαλαιας!!!όλη η χώρα πραγματικά ""πιάτο""μπροστά σας,αμφιθεατρικά και τα καράβια που έρχονται στο λιμάνι νομίζεις ότι θα τα ακουμπήσεις!!τα δωμάτια σε 2επιπεδα απλά και παραδοσιακά!!καθαριότητα καθημερινή και ο κύριος Αντώνης πρόθυμος πάντα νασ εξυπηρετήσει στο καθετί!!σίγουρα θα ξαναπήγαινα με Αστυπάλαια αλλά μόνο σ αυτό το ξενοδοχείο!!!
