Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa

Perfect. We stayed in a maisonette room. Lovely room with a perfect Seaview. Stayed with FIL. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice, including perfect, made to order scrambled eggs. There are always sunbeds available, and the hotel provides towels for the pool and the beach. The staff were all so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Ammes beach is across the road. The airport is a five minute taxi ride away and if you arrive in daylight and only have a small case you could walk to the hotel. Husband and I walked it a few times. There are a few lovely tavernas in walking distance. Planes fly over approximately 10 to 15 times a day but are an added bonus. I would definitely recommend staying here. The sunset is amazing too

Absolutely beautiful hotel with stunning views. We’re here for 11 nights and it’s our last night tonight. Cannot fault it at all. We have ate in the hotel quite a lot and the standard of food is excellent. Combined with the fabulous friendly staff you could not ask for more. We would highly recommend this hotel.

We have sadly just arrived home from our stay in Kefalonia and I cannot recommend the Electra Hotel and Spa highly enough, it is probably one of the best hotels that my husband and I have ever had the good fortune to stay in. I can only mimic what others have said. The staff are absolutely amazing and cannot do enough to make your holiday a memorable experience. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming, always smiling, which makes a huge difference. We both had some spa treatments and a massive shout out to the the girls that ran the Spa, sadly I didn't get their names but very professional and the facial was again, probably one of the best I have ever had, definitely worth a visit. The rooms are exceptional, very spacious with plenty of wardrobe and drawer space, the beds are really comfortable...I struggle to sleep most nights , but I didn't there, and the views from our balcony of the sunset and just generally, were stunning. There are a number of beaches within walking distance, if like us, the pool is not your thing, but if it is, you will not be disappointed. There is aircraft noise, but watching the planes coming in to land, somehow added to the experience, it certainly did not make us wish we had chosen somewhere different. It is well documented that there will be planes flying over the hotel, if you feel that would detract you from enjoying what this beautiful hotel has to offer...don't book it! I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough and cannot wait to go back.

I'm sitting in Kefalonia airport awaiting a flight home to the UK, reflecting on the 2 weeks in this fabulous hotel. From the cleaning ladies to the waiting staff, reception and managers, all 5 star. Friendly efficient and helpful. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly cleaned everyday by the lovely ladies with a smile and a cheerful kali mera. Beds incredibly comfortable with clean linen every other day and towels daily. The rooms have everything you could need, including an umbrella! Luckily that wasn't required. Breakfasts were delicious. Chefs made eggs to your liking and a good range of Greek goodness on the buffet. Lunch was equally good. Lovely pool area to soak up the sunshine with clean towels provided. What was a lovely touch was the iced water dispenser by the pool bar to help yourself. All in all I will highly recommend this hotel. Very sad to be leaving this wonderful hotel and island. We will be back!

I visited the Electra Kefalonia Hotel & Spa as an external guest, and I had a truly great experience. Efthymia !! welcomed me warmly and made me feel comfortable right away. She spoke English and gave me a relaxing, professional massage. The spa environment was peaceful and clean. Highly recommended even if you're not staying at the hotel u should give it a go!!

We had an amazing stay at the Electra as a family of 4 (2 teenagers) the hotel, pool and restaurant are fabulous and we would definitely return. All the staff are lovely and really friendly and the rooms was cleaned everyday. I had a free facial in the spa which was fabulous Breakfast was really nice and eggs made to order and a good selection of coffees. The planes come over the hotel every 30 mins (not everyday) but we really enjoyed watching them, it made our experience at this hotel even more enjoyable. Ammes beach across the road is lovely, 4 Sunbeds and a brolly €40. There are a few taverns within 5 mins walk plus more restaurants 25 mins walk- we did get a taxi to the restaurants a few evenings and walked back. . Overall we had a brilliant stay and would highly recommend- my only advice would be a happy hour early evening as the cocktails were rather pricey (although delicious)
