Premier Inn London Blackfriars

The hotel feels quite new compared to other premier inns I have stayed at. Good quality bed and the room was very clean and smelt fresh. Good bus routes for access to all areas of London very nearby. It was good value for London prices and I like that we can get twin beds arranged.

Stayed for 2 nights in family room in basement level, room was basic but clean and comfortable, staff were very friendly and helpful, breakfast was worth it as kids are for free and there was a good selection with lots to choose from and it was very tasty, location is perfect as near tube and walking distance to a lot of tourist sites, very relaxed atmosphere in hotel and really great value, would highly recommend

On checking in 2 Payments were taken from my bank account, Which meant an additional £400 taken from me, My entire spending money, So I was in London with 2 children for 2 days with no spending money! The manager said that there was nothing they could do! I rang customer services on Monday and they admitted it was their error and refunded me but it took 5 days, 5 days being overdrawn! With no compensation at all except a £30 voucher, The hotel and train cost over £500 and it was wasted because we had no money to do anything! Absolutely appalling Premier Inn, I will never be using you again!!

Staff: 6 out of 5 ⭐s Very disgusted when I personally overheard a conversation between Hazel (one of the staff,) and a customer complaining about things out of their hands. As someone who knows customer service very well, it amazed me the way she was able to deal with this disgruntled customer so professionally! Her and the rest of the staff went WAAAYYYYYY above and beyond to make sure we were perfectly accommodated, as well as answering my personal inquiries about the surrounding area. I have never been serviced by a more dedicated and attractive staff ever in my life!!!

Hotel was good, breakfast lovely, staff friendly while we where there. All that goodness evaporated after we'd checked out, realised we'd left some things in the room. The farce of customer service is beyond a joke, from attempting to find ways to access "customer service", to no answer to several phone calls, no response on other channels, to finally getting a response after posting negative reviews on social media. We'd then been told our left items where being sent, to a weeks later that nothing was found? It's now 3 weeks since we left, still no resolution. So it was a great place to stay, just pray nothing goes wrong as you've got little chance of any help/things being sorted.

Hotel close to the underground. Fairly large family room for 4 people. 2 USB sockets on each side of the double bed. Secure hotel, need the card to access the corridors. Friendly and attentive staff. We will come back.

Family of 4 stayed for 2 nights in large, clean, family room. Fantastic location for sight seeing and catching public transit. St. Paul’s Cathedral ten minute walk. Fast and large breakfast, serve lunch and dinner as well. Helpful and friendly staff. Very quiet stay over the weekend in this business district in the City of London.
