Yunshang Chenxi Wisdom Homestay (Longji Jinkeng Observation Deck)

Visited last weekend, and our stay was truly excellent! Longji after the rain was simply beautiful. The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking! The host was incredibly welcoming and helpful, assisting us with our luggage and even providing shuttle service to the viewpoints – their driving skills were quite impressive! The guesthouse's location is unbeatable! It's directly opposite Jinfo Peak, so there's really no need to take the cable car. You might want to visit Viewpoint 2 at most (the host can give you a quick ride, it's very close). What's more, there's another viewpoint just a few dozen meters' walk from the guesthouse, offering stunning sunrise views! They served delicious homemade rice wine, and the mountain spring water was delightfully sweet. My mom particularly enjoyed the fish; the beer fish was incredibly flavorful and went perfectly with rice! I, on the other hand, was hooked on the stir-fried river snails – I ordered them with every meal! The guesthouse itself was impeccably clean. Even the stairs were spotless, and the wooden floors in our room didn't have a speck of dust. Full marks for cleanliness! The floor-to-ceiling windows provided magnificent vistas. The absence of a balcony meant no mosquitoes, and we could witness spectacular sunrises right from our room in the morning, followed by breathtaking 'blue hour' moments in the evening! My mom loved it so much she barely wanted to step out, haha!

The place was impeccably clean, and the location was absolutely perfect. We thoroughly enjoyed the delicious stewed chicken soup. The owner was incredibly kind and patient, offering fantastic recommendations on places to visit and the best photo opportunities. The complimentary rice wine was also delightful. As a thoughtful gesture, they even gave us a packet of Luo Han Guo (monk fruit) when we left. Despite the long and tiring drive, waking up to such breathtaking scenery made the entire trip completely worth it.

We chose this B&B based on recommendations from others, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The design style is quite unique, beautifully blending modern and classical elements. The tatami tea table in the room was incredibly comfortable – I could have easily spent an entire day just lounging there, enjoying the view without stepping outside. The bedding and towels at the B&B were excellent, clearly made from high-quality, substantial materials. Both the owner and his wife were incredibly warm and welcoming. The owner himself handled all the pick-ups and drop-offs, and he was very approachable – we could easily communicate any needs we had. They even went the extra mile to help us book bus tickets back to Guilin. On top of that, the guesthouse's food was delicious, and the complimentary breakfast was both nutritious and substantial. All in all, choosing Yunshang was truly a brilliant decision.

The room was clean. The host was very kind and enthusiastic, proactively helping us with our luggage. The guesthouse offers stunning views and is very close to Viewpoint No. 1, with Viewpoint No. 2 just a 10-15 minute walk away. We had dinner at the guesthouse, and the complimentary rice wine was delicious. Breakfast was also great; since we were traveling with children, they even provided two extra servings of rice noodles. Highly recommend!
