"The breakfast was simple but delicious. The hostess was incredibly welcoming; whenever she saw us relaxing in the lobby, she immediately brought us tea, which was a lovely gesture. I didn't get a chance to take photos of the room, but it was very clean and tidy. All the towels and toiletries were disposable, which gave us peace of mind. And the view? Absolutely stunning! Apart from the photos with the guesthouse's name, all the other pictures were taken from our window."

While other locals might upcharge for food, water and transport, this hotel maintains honest rates. Cleanliness: The rooms were very clean and comfortable. A truly pleasant stay, highly recommended!"

"Location: You can drive right up to the hotel entrance! The staff were very proactive in helping us carry our luggage to the room, which was very spacious! It's very close to the cable car starting point, and the guesthouse offered to drive us there, taking just a few minutes. The cable car goes up to observation deck #3 at Golden Summit. Amenities: The guesthouse is well-equipped. The duvets and pillows were of good quality. There's a washing machine and dryer upstairs that guests can use for free. Service: All the staff were warm, polite, and patient. Highly recommend! Cons: The soundproofing isn't great. You can hear kids running in the hallway from your room, but it was still quiet once everyone went to bed."

"The Yunzhihui is in a unique picturesque location in the valley over the river. It has its own outdoor hot spa open 18 hrs a day and easy access to the public spa complex which includes also a large pool. The rooms are comfortable albeit a bit dated. Staff is extremely helpful and make a fantastic coffee. They sorted our transport to the rice terraces and back to Guilin airport when Didi let us down. Authentic Chinese breakfast is served. Recommended if you like a hot spa treat"

"This guesthouse was absolutely fantastic! From the moment I stepped inside, I felt incredibly warm and cozy. The room was clean and tidy, beautifully decorated, and the owner was incredibly welcoming. Overall, I was extremely satisfied. The day I checked in happened to be June 6th, the Chinese New Year's Day for drying clothes, so the festive atmosphere was wonderful. I was completely happy with this trip! 👍 Two words: Highly recommended!!!"

"I came here with my son and his grandmother. The guesthouse is a family-run business, managed by a young host and his parents. It was spotlessly clean throughout. They even offered convenient pick-up and drop-off service from the village entrance and helped us with our luggage. The views are stunning, and it's wonderfully quiet. Visiting during the off-season meant fewer crowds, which was absolutely ideal. The passion fruit from the local mountain was incredibly sweet, and the air was wonderfully fresh. The host's cooking was also delicious. Both my mother-in-law and son thoroughly enjoyed their stay."

"Had an incredible stay at this guesthouse! Nice, clean, and very spacious guesthouse run by a very sweet local family. I would highly recommend paying the upgrade to the terrace room, as the view from the terrace (and swinging chair) were so worth it! The room and bathroom were large, and contained full amenities (water bottles, disposable slippers, toothbrushes, and soap and shampoo.) The food at the guesthouse was delicious, with large portion sizes. I appreciated that the prices were normal and on par with the rest of China, and not extortionate like some other guesthouses. The family was also extremely helpful, and helped book my bus ticket, and get in contact with my next hotel when I couldn’t figure out how to reach them. Overall, I highly, highly recommend and would’ve stayed longer if I could!"

"Meeting Xintian's service was incredibly warm! They helped with transfers, carried our luggage, and even planned our terraced field sightseeing route. The guesthouse's home-style dishes were absolutely amazing – spring water stewed chicken, bamboo rice, and rice paddy fish. The ingredients were fresh, and the flavors were authentic; we ate there three times and never got tired of it. The room was spacious and bright. I thought facilities wouldn't be so complete up in the terraced fields, but there was a dry/wet separation in the bathroom, hot water, and air conditioning. The hygiene was spotless. Staying in the terraced fields felt as comfortable as being at home. We'll definitely come back next time!"
