This property far exceeded our expectations from the service to the food, overall location of the property and friendliness of the staff were all top notch. My only two minor issues were it would be nice to have a heated pool and the gym equipment was up and down and having four working treadmills for a resort that size did not seem sufficient. But overall we loved it there!!!

Heated pools. There were two sets of nearly identical pools so each side of rooms would have a pool cloose by. The beach and adjacent hotel were easy to get to.was easy to. Food was plentiful and good.Gave us drinks at check in and when getting seated at most restaurants. Lounge 24 and Capachinos were great relaxation spots.

The property is beautiful and the location is right on the beach. Fantastic ocean views from our room and the pool and most of the restaurants. The food at some of the a la carte restaurants was mediocre but the buffets were great and the steak house was awesome. The coffee bar serves great lattes. Live music in nice sitting area overlooking the ocean and rock arch.

Positive: The property grounds were beautiful. The staff were very friendly, always working hard maintaining the various areas. We enjoyed the restaurants and buffet. The pools were also very nice with lots of fun activities for adults and children. Great bar and drinks. Free hotel/airport transfers were very much appreciated. Staff were absolutely wonderful with shout out to little omelet lady!!!
Negative: Our room needs to be updated. The dresser drawers were broken and the television was very difficult to operate. We had an issue with the safe, but they repaired as requested. The bathroom shelf needs support as it leans and items roll off.
We booked our room through *******. It was advertised as Standard Ocean View (U). It was actually a partial OV facing the outside of the facility. When we questioned the location, they offered a full OV at $40.00 more per night and could not explain the (U) designation. My thoughts on the (U) indicated an interior room facing the beach and pool as the hotel is basically two sets of U shaped buildings. Friends who booked directly through hotel, reserved a (U) Jr. Suite OV (larger room) paid the same price we did and actually received OV. Not sure if this is an ******* issue or a hotel issue. But do not advertise OV and put guests in a Partial OV as there is definitely a price difference. Very disappointing as this was our 47th anniversary vacation.
Overall, with the exception of the room issue, we had a great experience.

Nice place, no actual Mexican restaurants on the resort which was sort of disappointing but they did have one sort of Mexican Themed night.
