Hotel Express

I must say, staying at Express Hotel during my business trip to Angola was a wise choice. First, I was most satisfied with the sunset view room; every afternoon, the sunlight streamed in through the window, and watching the sunset sink into the Atlantic Ocean in the evening was incredibly soothing. Secondly, the hotel's location was excellent, just 3 kilometers from the international airport and close to embassies, ensuring a high level of safety. There's also a fresh food supermarket 200 meters from the hotel's back entrance. While the breakfast selection wasn't extensive, it was generally good, and the hotel staff were very welcoming. The hotel offers English-speaking drivers, which is very helpful for business travelers who don't speak Portuguese. The hotel also has a small gym, but the equipment is a bit old; any improvement would make it perfect! Highly recommended!

This was my first business trip to Angola, and I booked the hotel based on reviews. Overall, I was quite satisfied. The hotel is located in a residential area with a main road behind it, so it was a bit noisy in the morning. There's a supermarket a few hundred meters to the left of the hotel, and fruit stalls along the roadside, so shopping is quite convenient. The breakfast was average. All the treadmills in the gym were broken, and the swimming pool was quite dirty, so I couldn't swim.

The hotel is very close to the airport. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but the ingredients were all quite fresh. The hotel staff were all very friendly; there was a problem with the invoice when I checked out on the last day, and their manager personally helped me correct it – I was very grateful. The hot water in the room wasn't hot enough, and they helped me change rooms the next day – I was very thankful.

Overall, the hotel is a good value for money hotel in Luanda. The breakfast is not particularly rich, but I can basically eat it well. There are juices, bacon, and vegetables. The room service is also relatively timely, and the front desk and waiters are quite enthusiastic.
