Motel L Lund

Revisited hotel last visit was June 2022, hotel service and staff improved. Continental breakfast has also improved, plenty of coffee and food replenished regularly Clean room, bedding and towels clean and fresh. amazing shower, will rebook in future. If room pricing remains competitive Car parking expensive considering hotel location out of town. Using phone app easypark is better as you can start and stop parking as you move about. Hotel charge for a 24 hr block. .

Clean, cozy, new and fancy. No complaints from the breakfast either. Good value for your money. Big parking lot. Nice roof bar. Good sushi restaurant next door. Quick log in and log out at the reception.

Everything in the place , like its should be, i will recomend for sure, very good value for good money, clean rooms, helpful staff ,tasty brekfast,next week im gonna book one room again and its gonna be at L Lund Hotel,

We had a lovely stay at Motel L, as a family. The room was nice and big. The breakfast was fine and the skybar - the restaurant on the top - was really good. The service we had no complain about , the Parking is a bit expensive - but overall we would recommand.

This is a new hotel, very clean and modern. The shower had wonderful pressure a wonderful rainfall showerhead. The room ( double) was rather small, I had to lift my luggage around the bed. The room was clean and had a nice tv. The staff was friendly too. The issue I had was the bed and the temperature of the room. I tried turning the temperature down but still it was way too hot, the windows do not open. I tried just shutting off the unit and it was still unbearable. However, the really big issue and reason I would never stay there again is the beds. The bed was extremely soft, with zero support. I tossed and turned all night sleeping very little only to wake up with a wrecked back. I like a softer bed and do not have back issues. This was very odd to me that the bed was this unsupportive. I dreaded staying the second night knowing how little sleep I would get. Breakfast was standard, although coming from Göteborg it was a down grade for sure. Not many hot choices, like meats or scrambled eggs. Overall it was a nice property but the bed alone would make it so I would bot recommend or return.

I got my requested hair dryer, BUT the room was not cleaned at all! The bed was crumpled and undone, the trash cans still had contents in it (mostly candy and dried sausages), the sink had hair on it and there was a big empty transparent easter egg on the table!!! I was too tired to transfer somewhere again after my long travel time so I checked if the bed was too dirty and gauged if I would die or get sick if I don’t swap the room. I told the reception about it and they offered another room. I declined it since I already arranged my things in the room and all I wanted was to take a nap. Nevertheless I thought they should now that something like this happened. To be fair, they have wonderful interiors and spacious rooms for a motel. They have a skybar that boasts an exhilarating view of the Lund tech area. The breakfast buffet is also OK. Just enough to cater to different diets. The price is also very reasonable. They also booked a taxi for me on my departure day. They also have a gym!!! Love it! If the room were only clean when I arrived, I would give them 5 stars.

On the surface a nice place to stay. In reality just ordinary low budget crap. My wife and I arrived and received a family room including two bunk beds. However, the extra pillow ordered was missing. We left for our party. Later my daughter and her children arrived to the hotel and was handed the key to a double room even she had ordered a double room. It turned out that the staff had swopped our names. Mistake happens but it is not okay that we as guests had to sort out the mistakes, move bags etc. even we were supposed to be at a party not moving luggage. We did not even receive an apology for their mistake. Next morning we had breakfast. Boring with all food ready made at factories. All bread coming from industry bakery instead of coming from the local baker. Just boring and cheap bread. Focus was food available for vegans, lactose intolerant or gluten intolerant guests. The hotel should instead focus on high-quality products for the majority of the guests. Not a place to stay if you want a great stay.

a new hotel in a part of the city that is in construction; very comfortable to reach ESS and MAXIV facilities; the hotel is very nice and especially the sky-bar lounge on top of the building; nice staff and good services
