A very nice hotel with a homely and quiet atmosphere. Ideal place to recharge the batteries. Beautiful view over the marina. Impressive wellness, very good food, attentive staff, sun loungers, swimming pool, bar, .. all of very high quality.

I am writing a review about the hotel, which has become for me more than a luxury holiday destination. We rested in Lescale last year and this year we went only there. Kelly met us, brought menthol wipes for the face, soft welcome drinks, quickly processed all the documents and settled. Exotic fruits and sparkling wine in a bucket of ice were waiting for us in the room. The room is magnificent: rattan furniture, pleasant warm colors, comfortable bed, large TV, coffee maker, tea, cookies, a charming balcony overlooking the fabulous mountains. Breakfasts are magical, a la carte, a lot of choice of different breakfast dishes, cooked quickly and tasty, coffee is amazing, variety of tasty tea, fresh juices, an assortment of fruits, cheeses, sausages, this year also sparkling. My husband chose Masala omelette every time, and I tried according to the list from the menu, I wanted to try everything, because everything was delicious, I didn’t even have time to try everything, such a wide range, although we were there for 10 days. The hotel is located in the harbor where you can walk and walk, because there you can see many interesting fish and animals, just from the hotel area. And there are Luxury yachts too, so I think you can park yours. The territory is large, cozy, decorated with great taste: a romantic pool, outdoor seating areas overlooking the pool and the harbor, many beautiful lounges inside, you can also organize a party with a DJ, everything is decorated in a tropical style, natural pleasant materials furniture, green plants, vases, interior items, everything is conducive to relaxation and enjoyment of your stay. In the pool area there is a bar with delicious cocktails and cozy chairs. There is also a SPA where you can relax and get a massage, work out in the gym or practice yoga to the sound of a natural stream, make body and face treatments. You can just walk and enjoy every corner of the hotel. Dinners are just as great, seafood, national dishes, a wide selection of alcohol. The chef makes different appetizers every day, they are very appetizing. But the most important thing, I would like to note, is the hotel staff. Everyone is very friendly, positive. They will talk with you, give advice on the rest, where to go or what to see, or which health trail to choose today, or which beach, they will call a taxi, call room, when the taxi arrives, they will sit down with honors, in the evening they will ask how your day went, they will even turn on national music for you and dance with you incendiary if you want it, a complete immersion in the atmosphere. If you want peace and quiet, this is also here. I want to say a huge thank you to: Shana is a very beautiful, stylish girl, with earrings in the form of Seychelles nuts, we met her last year, this year she was also great and helped in everything, very attentive and friendly. Simon is a very positive person, he charged with his positive for the whole day, he is also an athlete, for which special r

The spectacular location, service and immaculate rooms are worth our American travel. Simon, Peggy and the General Manager provided white glove, attentive hospitality to me and my five American guests. Don’t forget to make kits of time for the relaxing spa. Well done!

L'Escale is a small hotel close to the airport and Victoria. Simon, a gentleman from Kenya working at the reception was the star of our stay. He understood well, was helpful, resourceful and not forgetful. The rest of the staff... quite the opposite. If even the lady running the spa cannot explain to you what the treatments are, if in the restaurant a full buffet breakfast gets served one day, that the next day is only half size and the following day gets completely forgotten (or considered too cumbersome to dish up), if after booking you need to confirm your arrival or transport time 4 times to 4 different people, you know you won't come back. We did come back, as we booked upfront twice for three nights at the beginning and end of our 5 weeks Seychelles stay, and we wouldn't do book here again. The location of the hotel is great, the setup is very nice, but the people working there make it a mission to be a guest. The guest is not the center of the attention - it is rather that the staff makes their problems yours by asking the same questions over and over again, or making promises that don't get delivered upon. On top of that the rooms are visually nice but technically a disaster. We stayed in both of their two bedroom pool villas. TVs either not turning off at all (Villa 1 lounge) or randomly turning on and off by itself (Villa 2), air cons resetting to default 19 degrees though we don't want air con, a light that didn't turn off until we removed the bulb, a telephone flashing to alert you to "99+ messages"... what a mess. We encountered housekeeping staff cleaning floors/shower with unused towels, and we had turn down service ringing the door bell at 21.30h while we were in bed. Loose shower fittings... you get it all. Management clearly lacks. That Villa 2 is noisy because of the proximity to the vibrating water pumps is an added motivation to look elsewhere. The pros about this hotel are certainly the location, a good gym and yoga room and a very nice layout - and the possibility to moor your super yacht.

We had a wonderful time, gorgeous resort, lovely staff they read every wish from your lips, service and food excellent. Location perfect! Service around the excursion planning excellent. An absolute must do! If you haven't been there yet, you urgently need to put it on your bucket list.

I loved the place and I loved the workers, the natural smile on their face without making up. The place is quiet, close to the island of Eden 5min walk. Everyone works to make your visit an unforgettable experience.

We stayed only one night. We have been to many higher-end hotels around the world and found L'escale to be one of the best experiences overall. My husband and I keep talking about how great it was. Our flight landed early about 9 AM, check in wasn't officially until later, but when we called our room was ready, and they allowed us to check in to rest and freshen up after a long flight. The check in process was very quick and smooth unlike some luxury hotels where they drag it out for a long time unnecessarily. They did serve us a non-alcoholic beverage upon arrival and show us to our room. We had an end room with marina view. It was lovely, spacious, and clean. The furnishings were comfortable. The only complaint would be only one chair on the balcony, but you could take a 2nd chair from the room if you wanted to sit outside. There was a nice rack for drying clothes/towels on the balcony. The hotel was nice enough to arrange a rental car for us easily. It was ready about 1 hour after we arrived so we could explore Mahe. We were then able to return it when we checked out to the hotel staff. Restaurant was lovely. There were a variety of delicious options for breakfast/lunch/dinner. My husband is gluten free and they had no problem accommodating this request. We spent some time on the dock observing the super yachts and boats parked there, which was a fun addition to the hotel. Gym was quite nice for size of hotel with weight and cardio equipment. There was an outside area for yoga or stretching too. It was nice to get our bodies moving after a long flight. Pool was beautiful and deserted. There were comfortable lounge chairs and cabanas up for grabs. Plenty of shade too if you preferred to be out of the sun. Staff was excellent. Just the right level of service without being smothering. We were able to enjoy our privacy and our stay without feeling overwhelmed by staff. You can kind of hear a very light breakfast/restaurant noise from our room, but when we closed the balcony door, it was fine. We didn't mind at all. Interior design is so lovely! Fun island themed art is around the hotel too. We really cannot recommend this place enough. We would love to go back and spend a few days there sometime. Book!

I can't remember a more terrible hotel in the entire history of my travels. 1,340 euros per day. When it rains outside, the water miraculously flows into the bathroom and L'escala Bay is formed there, which cannot be overcome without slipping. The food is absolutely not tasty, one of our team is a vegetarian, there is nothing for him at all. Even flour is added to the omelet for some reason, the food is completely not adapted to European food preferences. The service is out of competition: they forget to bring the ordered dishes, are inattentive, for a very long time, tea bags are brewed together with a paper tea tag, they do not do it by chance, but simply do not understand the basic rules of service, if such service would be in some village in Madagascar, then there would be no complaints at all, but the hotel It is positioned as Small luxury hotels of the world - it does not correspond to this declared level. Another funny thing is that the air conditioner cannot be controlled, you can only turn it on or off, you cannot make it warmer when the air conditioner is on, either you suffer from heat (when the AC is turned off) or you freeze when it is on, there is no other choice. The absence of a sea beach will simply add to the "pleasure" of this hotel

I had the most wonderful spa day here, with so many facilities to make use of, the atmosphere, and the service is outstanding. The greatest massage I have ever had from a very skillful and experienced massage therapist.
