Me and my partner had an excellent stay at Cold Spring Hotel! The room was immaculate and had everything we needed and the owner Jimmy was extremely helpful throughout our stay. The cafe downstairs has delicious breakfast (the pancakes in particular) and a charming view of the Main Street. Would definitely recommend for any stays in Cold Spring.

The room was clean but shockingly small - the bed took up almost the entire room and it was NOT a comfortable bed - creaky. In the morning I went to make a cup of coffee from the Keurig in the hall. The packaged creamer was antique, solid, and did not dissolve - disgusting. Even if I could have drunk it, there is no place in the room to put the cup down or to sit. For over $250 on a Saturday night I feel ripped off. I didn't sleep well and couldn't get coffee in the morning. Cafe doesn't open until 9. Hard to understand so many positive reviews.

Jimmy and Adam run a wonderful old time hotel right on Main St in Cold Spring, NY. The rooms are small but well furnished, the little restaurant downstairs just what you need for breakfast, and the warmth of Jimmy the owner and Adam, his son reminds me of another time, one when you made new friends and connections along the road instead of having a standardized “experience” in a cookie cutter nonentity box. Stay here to experience a hotel run by humans, not some corporation. Oh yeah, I had a good night’s sleep too.

Cold Spring Hotel is a beautiful inn right on Main Street in the charming town of Cold Spring and just steps away from the Hudson River. Jimmy, the owner, is a most gracious and accommodating host. The cafe downstairs serves simple but delicious fresh food. Check out the cucumber ice tea. The Cold Spring Hotel provided me with the serene respite I was longing for. There are many attractive heritage sites in the area. And the Dia Beacon is not that far. But beyond those sites, I loved being able to wake up in a small town and walk to the Hudson and just take in. The Cold Spring Inn is just serene.

Very clean property and updated, in a historically old building. Lots of charm. Wifi is serviceable. Owner is very personable. Easy to get to the train or anywhere in town. Would be happy to stay here again.

The owners really put a lot of love into this property, and the breakfast was excellent! Great for a short trip from the city with great shopping and dining options nearby.

We had lunch today, and it was delicious!! The avocado toast with hardboiled eggs was fresh, and the toast was nice and crispy. The Turkey Lovers panini was just as fresh and filling!! Strawberry pink lemonades were the perfect accompaniment on a hot day. The owner is really nice; answers any questions, helps you order, if you're not sure what you want, and doesn't rush you out.
