Much credit to the owners Christine and Klaus and their lovely staff, who go beyond their duties to help and serve you. Nothing was too much trouble. The accommodation, longe, bar area and restaurant were very clean and aesthetically pleasing. Ski lockers are large and the ski bus picks you up right out side the hotel There is a ski service department in the locker room and ski passes can be purchased at reception. The heated outdoor pool is amazing and the whole spa area is beautifully clean with a lovely view over the gardens and the pool. The only thing I missed was tea and coffee making facilities in the room but had I asked for it, I'm sure it would have been provided.

Lovely stay at this immaculate, family run hotel. Although we arrived late on Saturday some food was provided on arrival. The bar and communal areas are very welcoming and the play room downstairs is a good place for the kids to hang out in for a while after dinner. There's a bus stop directly outside to save you the 10 min walk to the city express lift, the 10 min walk back up the hill with ski gear is best avoided. Ski-in was not an option when we were there due to lack of snow low down. The warm outdoor pool and family sauna are great for recovery after a day's skiing. The evening meal is a combination of buffet and off menu: excellent salads, lovely freshly baked bread, cheese selection, soups, ice creams. Some of the main course options we had were: schnitzel, steak, roast pork, tilapia, roast beef, venison, duck, lasagna, BBQ night. They don't offer the likes of chicken nuggets and chips for the kids every night but normally have a pasta option. The breakfast had a great selection of cereals, porridge, eggs or omelette and bacon. Only gripes were the orange and multivitamin juices were very watery at breakfast and it would be nice to have the coffee machine available with the cake and snack provided aprés ski. The hotel was kept very clean and the staff were very friendly and accommodating. I would heartily recommend and happily stay here if returning to Zell am See.

Fantastic stay at a lovely family run hotel. High end service, no complaints , efficient and friendly service from the get go. Great food and phenomenal value for money in my opinion. The staff were awesome and owners were always front of house. Would definitely stay again.

This is our second visit to this fantastic hotel, every thing about it screams out, GIVE ME ANOTHER STAR, because the hotel is worth more than just 4 stars. The staff all over the hotel from house keeping to the restaurant and the owners Christine and Klaus go beyond their duties to help and sever you like no other establishment I have stayed at, they put themselves out to help you no matter what. The restaurant is a mix of buffet and table service and all the food is hot and delicious and if you ask will be cooked as you like it. All the rooms are of a very high quality and we will definitely be back. The ski bus picks you up right out side the hotel the ski lockers are spacious with a secure digital lock so no keys to lose. There is a well trained ski service department in the locker room and plenty ski and bicycle hire equipment for everybody. The swimming pool is amazing especially in the snow, the heated pool is worth a visit alone so don't forget your swimmers. There is a sauna which is beautiful clean with a lovely view over the well kept gardens and the pool. The young children are looked after as well, there is a small collection of farm animals for the kids to enjoy in the garden. All in all the Hotel and staff should be proud of the hard work and the effort they put in to make your stay as perfect as possible.

Return visit to this exceptional hotel. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the food is plentiful and varied and of exceptional quality.The owners Christine and Klaus and all of their staff deserve their 5 star reviews, they go above and beyond to make your stay an amazing experience. They had a band play one evening who were very good, they also had traditional Austrian entertainment, the young entertainers were very talented.

Our family had the pleasure of staying for a week in Hotel Stadt Wien during Christmas 2024. It’s obvious from the time you arrive that every effort is made to ensure guests have a pleasurable stay. The hotel owners and staff are very welcoming and attentive, and the standard of service provided is very high. The hotel is clean and relaxing, with quality meals served each day. We’ve recommended the hotel to our family and friends and hope to return again in the not-too-distant future.

Had the most amazing time from start to finish. All the staff were amazing and all super friendly and helpful, couldn't do enough for us. The location was superb with a bus stop right outside to take us up to the lifts. The food was absolutely fantastic and first class. The rooms were great and cleaned everyday to perfection, nice and warm throughout. The ski lockers were great with fab access to the road to the bus. The pool and sauna, steam room and resting rooms were fab. The only drawbacks we had were - we thought tea and coffee should be available at the afternoon tea and the drinks were quite expensive but all in all an amazing time. This hotel is the best skiing hotel we have stayed at in over 25 years of skiing holidays , staff so friendly and helpful , rooms spacious and immaculately clean , food outstanding with so much choice , would definitely recommend and would love to return .
