Convenient location in a funky hotel. Bit unusual to sleep in a room without windows as we didn’t know what the weather was doing (although we could guess! Storm Amy was passing). Positives of having no windows was that it was dark (so no idea what time it was and woke up when our bodies decided was the right time) and no noise from outside. The room was comfortable and had all we needed. Complimentary tea and coffee and ironing board etc by the lifts for everyone was unusual but we did use it and it worked fine.

When confirming the order, there was only “payment made in the hotel” The charge when doing check in was higher than the amount shown in the app. It took time to do check in and feeling was not very good. Buffet Breakfast was good. You can order some choices when it was not available in the hot plates. Yummy👍

Strategically located near central Manchester city. Easy to walk around town. Hotel room is small, good to stay for one short trip. Breakfast was ok, but the hall was a little small.

The hotel boasts an excellent location, being only a 10-minute walk from Manchester's two train stations. However, the room amenities were quite dated, and if you're particular about cleanliness, this might not be the best choice for you. The breakfast was a standard English breakfast, offering a good variety of options and tasting quite decent.

Breakfast: The breakfast offering was underwhelming, with limited selection and quality. For instance, some guests have reported issues like grey/green bacon and a lack of variety, making it less than satisfactory for the price . Room Amenities: The rooms do not come equipped with refrigerators, which was inconvenient for storing perishable items. While some Moxy locations may provide fridges upon request, this is not guaranteed and depends on availability . Lobby Space: The lobby area is quite small and can become crowded, especially during peak hours. This limited space makes it challenging to relax or work comfortably in the common areas. Overall, while the hotel's location is convenient, the lack of basic amenities and limited breakfast options detracted from the overall experience. I would recommend considering other accommodations in Dublin that offer better value and comfort.

Quite convenient location right next to st.peter square Cozy and clean, only thing to complain is that coffee in the room is not refillable no matter how many days you are staying (tea and milk is refillable per day) And also, even it’s a room supposed to provide for three people, the place is a little bit squeezed. Better for two I’d say

One of the friendliest hotels in Manchester.  The bar is good and excellent cocktails.  Breakfast has very good choices and is  top quality.  Beats some of the more prestigious hotels hands down on both service and quality.

I just arrived in the UK and stayed in a hotel. The room was relatively large, and I could cook. The facilities were complete. Disadvantages: It was a basement room with a skylight, and the smell after cooking was difficult to dissipate.

Location is excellent- right next to Piccadilly station. The room was very tasteful, retaining just the right amount of period features. The staff were fantastic and let us check in a little early. The kitchenette is a very helpful addition to the room. We really liked the mattress, firm but incredibly comfortable. Overall, a great stay.

AAnonymous UserLocation might be handy if you are physically able to walk about in the city centre, I have MS and walking can be difficult at the best of times, not the fault of the hotel but my booking was made during a period of severe weather conditions and the hotel staff checked me in immediately, four hours before their usual time and were very helpful, polite and friendly.

NNayomithedivaLoved my stay at this Hotel. It was my third time staying at this hotel. The aesthetics of the Hotel are really nice. The spaces in the hotel are modern with a touch of luxury. The front desk ladies that I met during my stay were welcoming, friendly and had good vibes.Nothing beats a warm welcome. Check in was quick and easy and very professional. I forgot the name of the lady that checked us in but she was fabulous. We checked in on September 4th 2024 between 12:20-12:50 so the lady that was sat on the right side of the main desk at that time did really well n checking us in. The breakfast was okay , but it kinda left me wanting more in terms of selection. Maybe beef sausages or even chicken sausages could be added??? But it was still good nevertheless. The location of the hotel is also pretty good as you are able to go to access many restaurants… and shopping points. Distance from the Machester Piccadilly Train station from this hotel is super convenient as well. Would totally recommend this hotel😊😊😊

Ttraveller2002Absolutely loved our stay at The Midland Manchester – everything about this hotel exceeded our expectations! From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and couldn’t do enough for us. Every member of the team made us feel genuinely looked after, and the service throughout was faultless. The room was spotlessly clean, beautifully maintained, and incredibly comfortable. The bed was like sleeping on a cloud – we had some of the best nights’ sleep we’ve had in ages! The room service was prompt, professional, and the food was delicious – a real treat after a long day exploring the city. Speaking of relaxing – the spa was absolutely divine. Clean, calming, and wonderfully designed, it was the perfect escape. The massage was one of the best I’ve ever had – incredibly soothing and tailored to perfection. If you’re in need of some proper pampering, this is the place to be. Location-wise, you couldn’t ask for better. Right in the heart of Manchester, everything is within walking distance, yet the hotel still manages to feel like a peaceful retreat from the hustle and bustle. All in all, The Midland is a true gem. Comfortable, elegant, and run by an outstanding team. We’ll absolutely be back!

AAnonymous UserGood location for seeing Manchester City centre. Things to note for those who plan to drive: it’s £20 daily to park. To check-in early even if the room is available, you have to pay £20. If it’s raining, you have to rent an umbrella for £2 for 48 hours. I like that they don’t have plastic water bottles but they offer a jug that you can fill up with filtered water.

**Laura*We had a pleasant stay at The Townhouse Manchester. The room was clean and comfortable, and the hotel's central location made it convenient for exploring the city. The staff were friendly and attentive, enhancing our experience. Overall, it offered good value for money.

SSaierbahetangwanI'm a big fan of this Leo hotel in Manchester city center; this is already my second stay this year. The facilities are very new, the bedding is incredibly comfy, and the front desk service is both pleasant and efficient. I've stayed in different room types on both occasions: one was a king-size room with a bathtub in the bathroom, and I thought the black and blue mosaic wall next to the tub looked really cool while soaking. The other was a twin room with a walk-in shower, which was also great. The rooms feature many modern impressionist-style paintings, and the large TV screen is a definite plus (a small screen would certainly have detracted from the overall experience). The light rail station is just a left turn out of the hotel, yet it's also a short walk to the lively areas, making it an excellent choice for travelers keen on exploring Manchester on foot. I've heard there's another Leo near Manchester Piccadilly Station, which I might try next time, but this city center location definitely feels very chill.

BBen BristowI stayed at the Ibis on Portland Street in central Manchester (not to be confused with the Ibis Styles further down the road). The staff were friendly and allowed me to check in early, which was a nice touch. Although I didn't spend much time in the room as I was out exploring, it was a good place to rest. The room was clean, with tea and coffee provided, and the shower had excellent water pressure and stayed hot. The Wi-Fi worked well, though the air conditioning had analogue controls, which felt outdated and a bit unclear to use. Breakfast was included in the stay, but I didn’t have the chance to try it as favoured my beauty sleep. There was some noise from footsteps in the corridor and the room above, but overall, it was a decent stay. The room was quite similar to the one I stayed at in London Greenwich.
