Stayed with my family for a day and they gave me a free upgrade to the room with sea view. Friendly staff, and they got a clean swimming pool in which we enjoyed a great evening. They do have enough parking space as well. Food taste need to improve.

Have been visiting Vivanta Taj Old Port Road, Mangalore for at least 5 years now. It is an exceptionally friendly place. The staff are the best. They make us feel comfortable and relaxed. Great job by Management on selecting and training the right people. Memories of China Restaurant is a welcome addition to the property and gives it class. The food is exceptional clearly the best Chinese in Mangalore. (Prices are a bit on the higher side for Mangalore). Biswajit the Chef does an amazing job. One piece of strong advice to the Chef " it is good to do some P.R. at the table but the Chef should not spend too much time with customers. They are at Memories of China to spend time with each other and not have to listen to the Chef's stories. Please make sure that doesn't happen. But still a very good experience Thank you

I stayed with family at Vivanta Taj- Mangalore. I would like to thank frontdesk Mr Sudheesh & Mr Sathya for making our stay comfortable. Very beautiful location, the premises is well maintained. We all enjoyed the buffet breakfast, thanks to Ms Deepa for taking care of kids needs. Overall a very nice weekend spent at Vivanta.

Booked a room in advance for staying in Mangalore before leaving for Bekal. Airport pick up for our late evening flight was also confirmed by the hotel in writing however to our surprise, no one showed up to pick us up and when I called the hotel, I was told that there was no pick up scheduled for us!!! Apart from the above shock though, everything else was good. Check in was smooth, each and every staff we met was attentive and caring and the breakfast buffet in the morning was great. Neat and clean hotel with room having good cooling. Recommended for a relaxing Mangalore stay, just be sure to reconfirm your travel arrangements if booked through hotel.

Keep up the high standards:) Overall a fantastic stay. It was a family trip. Courteous staff, well maintained property. One call out : we head an early morning checkout so Hotel staff helped us with packed breakfast at 5:45 AM so a big thank you :)

I am rating my experience as 8, purely because property does not have kids room or any kids activity. I understand it could be because of your primary audience being business travellers, I came with family and having kids activity/playzone area is a big help. Otherwise, amazing hospitality, great rooms, cleanliness and food!

This was a welcome break for us during the june heat, the breakfast was excellent both for Veg and Non Veg. However my meat loving friends may feeel a bit below expectation. Also was surprised no spa available, however the choice of hotel was done based on this facility.

One of the finest hospitality experiences one can have. The experience starts the moment taxi arrives at porch and getting welcomed by guards' warm smile, front desk staff are very friendly and caring, check-in is superfast as is checkout. All services from room service to restaurant dining is better than what a groom can expect.

It was an amazing experience. We were upgraded to suit. It was very nice. We ordered in lunch, which was very tasty. The staff was very polite, helpful and courteous. Chef helped us his best and served us with good food. Our food choices are little different, so we were not completely satisfied but it was still good. Our transportation to airport was also great. Overall it was a great experience.
