Upon check-in, I was assigned a room type different from my original reservation (a city view room). It was only with the assistance of Trip.com customer service that I received a notification from the hotel indicating I could switch rooms. However, after the hotel's call ended, I waited for 30 minutes. When I went downstairs to check, there were two or three staff members at the front desk. I ended up having to contact Trip.com again for assistance before a staff member finally came to escort me.
Hot water was not available 24/7, and even when it was, it wasn't scalding hot. I suppose this might be due to cultural differences. The central air conditioning was also quite noisy.
Before booking, I was already aware that the road in front of the hotel turns into a bustling night vegetable market. The market usually winds down around 7 AM, which is then followed by rush hour traffic. The honking horns definitely let you know it's morning! As I'm an early riser, I actually quite liked this and wasn't bothered by the noise at all.

We've (me & my bf) been a repeat pax eversince pero ewan ko kung samin lang but everytime we book for 'Premium' rooms, mas better mag-deluxe nalang. Every room na nabigay nila samin for premium = ang hina ng wifi + incomplete towels + slow signal & I don't know but for some reason, ang bagal ng check-in process pag sa Premium kami lagi. But nonetheless, budget friendly parin naman as always ang Astrotel.

Astrotel Divisoria appears to be an old hotel, and unfortunately, it shows in both its facilities and upkeep. The toilet flush is problematic, and upon entering the guest floors, an unpleasant odor is immediately noticeable. Overall, it leaves a disappointing and rather unpleasant impression.

the hotel area is fine, located near to the night market and shopping mall. the food also cheap price. the room is quite spacious with the clean toilet. the staff also helpfull. price is okay, so nothing to comment.

Nice location along Divisoria wet and dry market and shopping malls, also walkable distance going to Binondo China Town.
I hope they improve the online booking confirmation faster because it took them a time to verify your paid booking and check the voucher. Some loud noise can also be heard from the passerbys in the hotel hallway. And tv remote control is not working that they need to check. I hope they improve these aspects.
Overall stay is okay, location-wise, if your errand is to stroll around Divisoria, shop and spend the night.
Hotel staffs are also accomodating.
