The location is excellent, the rooms are spacious and bright, and the facilities are complete. The service team is warm and friendly, and the food is delicious and diverse, making people linger. Whether it is a leisure vacation or an adventure trip, this is a perfect choice for staying, highly recommended!

The room is pretty good, clean and hygienic. The food for three meals is rich in variety, delicious in color, fragrance and taste. There are also enthusiastic Maasai people. It was a wonderful experience...

The hotel is in the park, and the external environment is very good. The room is relatively old and the domestic Samsung is similar. There are not many varieties of food for three meals, but the taste is not bad.

The location of the hotel is very good, in the Masai Mara Park, it is very convenient to go to Safari. The environment of the hotel is also good, you can have close contact with wild animals. But the facilities in the hotel room are very poor, the door lock is broken, the bathroom door cannot be closed, and the water is yellow. Service is average.

We spent two nights at Keekorok during August 24. On the positive great staff including Judy in the restaurant and Lawrence at the bar. Room was ok , comfortable but dated Rhino Pool was a nice touch As for the food this was shocking , it was only catering for either Indian & Chinese visitors or vegetarian guests (as mentioned by other guests on trip advisor) .There was no continental food, we managed to get Judy to get us some plain grilled chicken on first night as that was the item that we could eat . Next morning no bacon but chicken gizzard…. for breakfast We raised the issue when we were staying there with staff and with our guide and on our return to the Uk. We have now been given a refund by UK travel provider as recognition of a product offering issue. If Keekorok want to target a different market for guests, that’s fine but do not let those expecting continental cuisine find it missing which is shocking for safari lodge.

Jambo ! Amazing location (but smelly hippos)!!! You get used to it though. Mattresses could do with replacing as very lumpy (Janet helped me out with padding out with a spare duvet). Enough different food dishes to please every taste but a little bias towards Indian cuisine. Judy deserves a mention - she remembers everyone's name and room number and is very welcoming and friendly. A little shop selling snacks would be a massive bonus as between meals or if you missed a meal due to early safari there was limited availability of just cakes and coffee or sandwich to buy which was not to everyone's liking. Guests are clearly informed that they should get escorted to and from rooms after dark as there are no fences and wild animals come and go, which makes it even more exciting to know that they are outside your window. The safari experience was absolutely awesome. Our driver/guide John Lemurt was very knowledgeable and he went out of his way to make it a good experience for us. There is a swimming pool for guests and a spa but unfortunately for some reason this was not open when we visited. You have to remember this is a lodge in the middle of the Massai Mara, not a city hotel - power cuts happen, sometimes there might not be hot water when you want it. On the whole a great experience and we will return. Fiona and Gary

We spent three nights at Keekorok at the end of a four-country trip for our charity, so we were looking for rest and relaxation while enjoying the beauty of the Masai Mara, which we definitely got! The high points of Keekorok: 1. The location is very good--we were able to see many animals within a few minutes drive and, indeed, right on the grounds of the lodge. Baboons and a hippo came right up to our lodging. (That's why after dark they tell you to call for an escort to and from the main building!) We saw 4 of the big 5 -- only missed seeing a leopard. Plus, so many other species! 2. The staff was fabulous and definitely the best part of this accommodation. Just unbelievable hospitality. 3. We booked Shoor Travel / Masai Mara Tours for our driver, but you certainly could have arranged the game drives right with the hotel. They also have a desk to book a hot air balloon ride should you want one. 4. There's an actual hippo pond on the property, which is fun to visit. 5. The main lodge architecture is lovely as is the attached patio. Really nice to hang out there on a rainy afternoon. 6. Gift shop has so many lovely things, plus necessities you might have forgotten. What needs improvement: 1. The food is provided buffet style -- and it was fine -- occasionally very good. But mostly it became redundant and focused heavily on Indian food--which makes sense because Keekorok is owned by an Indian Hotel Company. We appreciated the pasta station, breakfast egg/omelet station, and all the fresh fruit that was available. But overall there were some meals where we struggled to be enthusiastic. Food was plentiful, just would have appreciated more broadly international offerings. Nice that they offered free hot tea and coffee during the day out on the patio. Snacks like nuts or crisps/potato chips were always brought to us if we ordered drinks in the bar. (Again -- staff was absolutely stellar in their hospitality.) 2. We stayed in a chalet room -- and again it was fine -- but for how the Lodge is billed as an upscale location, the room didn't match that level/price. Mostly clean but a little rough around the edges. Bathrooms really need a refurbish ... shower had some interesting tile repairs that made it hard to discern if the corners were just badly repaired or unclean. Did appreciate the nice mosquito netting. So, we had a great time but just would expect a little higher level food and rooms.

We have recently stayed at Keekorok for 5 nights in a chalet and had an amazing time. Travel was stress-free as we were met from the small plane and Keekorok was only a 5 minute journey by jeep from the airstrip. Our chalet was comfortable with an excellent shower and well-maintained mosquito net which was set up around the bed every afternoon and then folded away every morning. There were plenty of electrical sockets and a fan. The central restaurant served buffet-style meals with lots of choice and we very much enjoyed all our meals and the friendly, attentive service given by Nicholas and the two young waiters who looked after us. In fact, all the staff at Keekorok were very warm, professional and helpful. Watching the hippos from the Hippo Bar was interesting and the swimming pool was welcomed for an afternoon dip. Best of all were the amazing game drives – we had 9, all with John who was very knowledgeable and made sure we saw the ‘Big Five’ plus so many other animals often very close up. The drives really did surpass our expectations – thank you John. All in all, a fantastic experience.
