TownePlace Suites by Marriott Toronto Northeast/Markham

I had a studio room at towneplace with a king bed and a sofa bed. However, the sofa bed is way too old for use with human! You can feel the steel springs just by touching the surface. It can't hold even the weight of a child. They hotel then sent up a roller bed whose mattress is just as dated and unusesable as the sofa bed's. I then suggested that they look for a firmer mattress without springs. They managed to bring one way bigger than the roller bed frame can hold. We had no choice but used it for 4 nights but that unfortunately took up most space in the studio living hall. The hotel room is in general old but very clean! Having said that, the breakfast is fantastic with lots of hot and fresh choices. Veggie patties or burgers are a heartwarming consideration for vegetarian. The breakfast attendant named Vivek is exceptionally helpful and cheerful. His level of service is only seen in fine-dining restaurants! 👍 Thumbs up!

We stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. The location of the hotel is great and is close to a few large supermarkets and malls with less than 10 - 15 mins drive, such as the T&T Supermarket and the Pacific Mall. The room is equipped with kitchen setup that we have cooked our meals during our stays. There is also a Peking duck restaurant located at the ground floor of the hotel which is nice and tasty.

Standard Marriott courtyard, breakfast was ok, standard American continental breakfast included in the room, served on 14th floor. Give a good start of the day. Room was big and comfortable. Location is good, lots of resto just the other side of Steeles, and Phoenix just 2 mns by walk. Only downside is you have to pay parking that is $8/ngt. While the whole area is pretty vacant so don't know why we have to pay for that.

Great location and service. Continental breakfast was a bit crowded but overall, was a good stay.

The hotel met our needs. It was right off the highway, was comfortable, and was reasonably priced. The free breakfast was very good. Amenities, such as the gym and pool, looked very good. Minor downsides are slightly dated rooms, minor cleaning issues, and a charge of $8 for parking. However, in our case, the cost of parking plus the room was lower than comparable hotels.

This is third time I stayed in this hotel. I enjoy the big room, the excellent services of the hotel staff. I would like to appreciate a staff named Deep who serves at 14th floor breakfast area, his attitudes of serving the customers make a big contribution of my return to this hotel.
