Tokyo Dai-Ichi Hotel Matsuyama

The building is old, but the bathroom was renovated and clean. I was bothered by the smell of the unisex bathroom curtains. The windows can't be opened, which is a bit disappointing. The view outside the window was nice. There was no replenishment of breakfast, which I was disappointed when I told them. For the price, it was small and the volume was low. It would be better if it was cheaper.

I stayed at this hotel as part of a package from JTrip. I didn't have high expectations because it was a cheap package, but it was actually a great hotel. The room was well cleaned, and the amenities were from BOTANICAL, which was great. You can also see Matsuyama Castle from the room, so if you're visiting Ehime, this hotel is a great choice.

On September 13, we went to the restaurant "Lumiere" on the first floor of Tokyo Daiichi Hotel to celebrate my friend's birthday. The "SUMMER SELECT BEER FESTA (August 20th - September 12th)" was originally scheduled to end on September 12th, but they have continued to serve alcohol since September 13th, so we applied for the course with 2 hours of all-you-can-drink. We entered the restaurant after 16:30 on the day and started eating. The food was delicious and the portions were generous, so we were satisfied. The last order for alcohol was announced after 18:00. At 18:30, a staff member came and suddenly said, "We've been in the restaurant for two hours, so we're closing here and please leave." We said we still had some drinks and food left, so we asked to eat and drink a little more, but they didn't listen to us and insisted that we pay the bill and leave because it was the rule. We protested that we had heard in advance that alcohol would be served for two hours, but there was no notice that we had to leave the restaurant after two hours, but they didn't listen to us at all. Moreover, reducing food waste and loss, such as untouched food and leftovers, is a global economic, environmental and social issue, and this is the first time I have been treated so badly. Is this what Tokyo Daiichi Hotel, which has nationwide branches, does? I can't believe it! It's unforgivable! Also, this is a minor point, but the menu said that ice cream would be served after the meal to those who wanted it, so when I ordered it, they said they couldn't give it to me because I didn't order it when I first sat down. It's so rude to customers. My friend's birthday celebration has been ruined.
