Sheraton Fuerteventura Beach, Golf & Spa Resort

My daughter and I were warmly welcomed by Mike at check-in and Miguel took our luggage up and showed us to our rooms. The room was lovely, the bath/shower room and toilet are separated by a large area with his and hers sinks and a wide mirror. I read In other reviews that there’s no doors on the bathroom which apparently is a Spanish thing but it’s not true. There are those are frosted glass doors. Privacy is not an issue probably better than a normal arrangement. The space in there was amazing and the rain shower was great. There was a bidet as well and all well stocked with toiletries. The room was spacious and the housekeepers quickly came to separate the beds as we were expecting twin beds. They were so good they even put a bed on the balcony for my daughter. There’s a fan on the ceiling which I liked and meant I didn’t need the air con at all. The balcony was spacious with nice furniture and the views were amazing, the curtains were long and heavy perfect to keep the room dark when needed. There was always spare sunbeds even though some fools would be out before 7am reserving them. The hotel provided lovely towels every day the only question was how many. We were bnb and the food was well stocked and varied and break fast served from 07/11:00 am. As other reviews mention there was something of an issue with flies but you expect that to some extent when eating outdoors / doors open. The beach was a stones throw behind the hotel and very pleasant. The staff were amazing they were incredibly helpful and friendly every single one of them. On the bar there was Paulo and Fabiano to name two. Maribel the maid did so much for us and was always happy it’s a hard job the housekeeper do so she deserves special credit and her colleagues too. The activities team were great Olga is lovely such a cool lady running classes daily and always looking full of energy including everybody who wanted her to. My daughter said she was really cool and I agreed Aaron was really good too engaging people during the classes and quite funny. There were more staff I’d mention if I could recall names they lady who welcomed us to breakfast, the staff around the eating are ensured there was always seats . It’s for the staff I gave five and not four. They are a great team.

Paid an upgrade for a better room. But water boiler & hairdryer did not work. Changed asap, but felt not standards of Marriot/Sheraton. Quite disappointing & not expected after paid upgrade. Very friendly and courteous staff, esp. the restaurant service crew. Excellent buffet. Lots of choices. Nice evening entertainment.

This was my 4th and last stay at this hotel. Really lovely welcome from reception staff - great sea view room - had a lovely lunch in the pool bar. Wonderful beach - very clean. Spacious room with wonderful bed and bathroom facilities. I would really recommend this hotel. However it was only on checkout that I had a very bored checkout lady who didn’t crack a smile and whilst waiting for my transfer a fellow guest told me he had been warned that they would charge him €250 if he smoked on his balcony. Neither of us was aware that was not allowed. I did check this with the hotel on my return home and they confirm you can only smoke on the hotel reception terrace (which was directly below my balcony) or by steps by the pool. As a solo traveller and a smoker I spend a lot of time on my balcony and am respectful of my neighbours when smoking. I was not aware of this rule when booking on my last 4 trips. So unfortunately I won’t be returning - but highly recommend for non smokers.

Perfect from the first until the last moment. This hotel is the only reason I would visit Fuerteventura again. 3 pools. 1 outdoor huge jacuzzi and an amazing kiddie pool was all we needed for a perfect holiday. The room was amazing and spacious. Don’t be worried about the huge king size bed if you travel with children, they have very good quality, very comfortable rollaway beds. Turnovers service amazing, beds made every morning while we were downstairs having breakfast. All the staff was more than nice, from reception to Gardner. Breakfast was very rich, food for any taste. The kids club was also really nicely organised and well stocked. Location? The absolute best. The hotel is literally on the beach, walking distance from the restaurants area and a mall, and less than 10 minutes drive to the airport. I would give it 10 out of 5 if Tripadvisor would allow me.
