Great property in the centre of CBD. Highly recommended

Stayed for 9 nights and found the room to be a good size with a spacious bathroom. Really enjoyed the bath tub, but the slow flow of water from the tap was a bit tedious and resulted in a less bubbly bubble bath. Not the end of the world though! Excellent location for shopping and dining etc. Staff were all friendly and allowed me to check in early and even allowed a slightly later check out. Overall a very pleasant stay.

We stayed one night. Room was well appointed with thought out furnishings that suited the size of the room, including a handy shelf under the TV. Space was clean, only issue I noticed was the bathroom door definitely hits the shower door (existing damage on bathroom door), and slight leak from the shower into the grout of tiles in the bathroom. We weren't disturbed by other guests. TV has free to air channels and option to cast from your phone. Great location from which we attended some comedy festival shows. Parked our car at Galleria and with validation at the hotel only paid $8 for 24hrs. Would happily stay again.

Loved staying here! Beautifully clean and new, and reasonably priced. Great location. Lovely cosy little sitting area in the foyer too! 24hr front desk, really nice rooms and what's not to love. Extremely clean and nice hotel. Will be back!

Can't beat the location. Right in the center of CBD. However, there's a construction site right across from the hotel. Could be a bit noisy at times. I got to the hotel quite a bit before the check-in time and they were very nice to let me check in early.

Delightful modern accommodation, clean, fresh and inviting. Peaceful considering it's in the heart of the city. Close proximity to shopping facilities. Comfiest bed you have ever slept in (for a hotel), the bathroom was incredible, and the staff were helpful and accommodating. 5/5 stars if I could put more I would the value for money is impeccable!

I booked this based on location, price and newness. The hotel is on Little Collins Street, opposite major construction so getting dropped off was a bit of a drama with my Uber driver being abused... Anyway, checked in... the housekeeper was checking off her rooms beside me with a staff member (yes that one has been done) and another senior staff member instructing another about guests. The Housekeeper even berated a staff member coming through the front entrance... I don't need to hear all this... The housekeeper even walked straight in front of me when I approached the check in desk... she didn't smile at guests when they left the lift, I watched... its the small things. The room, the hotel recently renovated to a very high standard, totaly renovation, including the spacious bathroom. My room had two televisions, a couch and a very comfortable bed and pillows, very quiet. Very good light and great decor, hope they can keep up that standard. Outstanding room. Housekeeping - closer inspection of certain areas, especially the toilet, check where you wouldn't normally inspect too. Dirty wine glasses... Would stay again and hope it will be a five star review... review your housekeeping

Very comfortably apppointed room! Lots of space to put things and charge devices. Design flaw in the dual function toilet/shower door in that it drips on the tiles in the bathroom when you slide it open, so need to keep a towel on the floor to mop it up. But other than this, a really excellent room and surprisingly quiet.

It was lovely to stay at a newly renovated hotel within the CBD at a very affordable price. If your looking for modern accomodation without paying extra for facilities you’re never going to use like gym, pool or terrace then I’d highly recommend The Howey as it won’t disappoint!
