Var I Middelfart for at gå på Lillebæltsbroen. Sixtus ligger fint til det, til Middelfart og til den omkringliggende natur.

I was visiting a family member and needed a place to stay overnight. This hotel looked nice and was in walking distance to the city center. As it turned out, the hotel is situated at the fiord - it was chilly when I visited, but it must be a dream in summer. Also it's situated in a very quiet part of town - very little traffic. The room was in the main building and was spacious and nice, even if I didn't have a view to the sea. Water pressure is a bit low. The room - and everything else in the hotel - was sparkling clean. My relative and I had dinner, and it was amazing. As was the breakfast! All staff was kind and helpful. If I should complain about anything, it must be that I couldn't get a glass of wine after ten o'clock - only beer (which I don't drink) and soft drinks. If I need to stay overnight in Middelfart again, I'll definitely come back.

Very average stay, not fantastic. Generally no one in the reception. No AC in the room. A bottle of beer cost 9 euro (70 DKK), no fridge in the room and too far from city center. Very nice area outside, down to the sea!

Pro: gorgeous setting, friendly staff, delicious teatime snacks(for a price) - room w view is worth it. Con: tiny bathroom, tiny sink, tiny shelf, paper cups. Charged $100 to do laundry which came back damp, not folded or ironed. Disappointing, especially at that price. Dinner very pricey, good but not great.

På forretningsrejse og ankom om aftenen med den ondeste halsbetændelse. En fantastisk serviceminded receptionist sørgede for at der blev bragt suppe op på mit værelse selvom det ikke engang var på menuen. Tak til Kokken for en lækker suppe og tak for omsorg fra personalet.
Desuden et rigtigt hyggeligt hotel med en smuk beliggenhed. På gensyn 😊

Dejligt hotel med skøn lokation, det sødeste personale jeg har mødt længe og fantastisk mad. Eneste negative er at sengene er så smalle at man skal overveje hvordan man vender sig om natten og hovedpuderne er frygtelige - ret standard for de fleste hoteller... Men det har indtil videre ikke afholdt mig fra at vende tilbage flere gange og det kommer jeg også til i fremtiden. Stor anbefaling herfra :)
