Friendly welcome from Cheryl and furry friends. Gorgeous historic house in lovely old part of town. Short walk to downtown and Waterfront. Great dinner, breakfast. Nothing too much trouble from the moment we arrived until we were waved away. Can't recommend highly enough.

From the first conversation I had with Cheryl, I knew Dragonfly Dreams was going to be a good experience for my friend and I. What I didn't expect, was to be transported into a dreamy, enchanting Inn! Details and ambience of the inn cannot be seen or felt in photos. Soft shades of blue and white flow from the comfortable, covered wrap-around porch, through to the interior of the home. Songs from the past draw you into the history and character of the pristine home, and the beautiful decor from past and present have been carefully chosen and displayed elegantly. Lots of "oohs and ahhs"! We could have slept on the porch it was so welcoming, but our room was fantastic! We had never been to a B&B, and it's so nice to have the privacy of your own restroom. Every detail to make your stay comfortable and restful has been taken care of. Breakfast was prepared and served with care and detail, so delicious! It's so very evident that Cheryl loves her home, and she truly enjoys her guests. She goes beyond what an Innkeeper would do, and she is a welcoming, beautiful, warm soul. If you are choosy about where you stay, and are tired of the impersonal treatment of hotels, Dragonfly Dreams Inn is where you should be! Close proximity for walking to several restaurants and shopping too!

My mother and I enjoyed a wonderful stay at Dragonfly Dreams Inn. Our room was clean and comfortable and the whole house was full of delightful treasures. Cheryl was a friendly and helpful host and we enjoyed the delicious breakfast she provided. The Midland area has much to offer and we certainly plan to book here again on our next visit.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Dragonfly Dreams Inn with my partner, staying in the lovely Cottage suite. We both loved the friendly atmoshere and comfortable stay, and the beautiful views of Midland Ontario. We especially enjoyed taking in all the magical moments curated in this space, and a relaxing lounge on the screened in porch/veranda in the evening. I am already planning my next retreat to Dragonfly Dreams Inn with my mom.

Never stayed in a B&B prior to our stay at Dragonfly Dreams Inn and our stay by far exceeded my expectations. Comfortable beds, lovely clean home. Cheryl has an eye for detail, a treasure in every corner. Excellent breakfast. An outstanding experience. Absolutely enjoyed our time with Cheryl. She takes great pride in giving her guests the best possible experience. She will even make you dinner reservations. Can’t wait to go back!!! Thank you Cheryl

The linens were clean, the house felt so cozy and comfy. The Host Cheryl accommodated my food allergies ( Gluten and Dairy). Fresh fruits and vegetables for my meal were bought at the local market. I love companies that support locally. I will be returning next summer.

We found the host to be horrible, intrusive and unfriendly. We loved Midland and our cycling experience in the area. The room was comfortable enough yet the location was at on very noisy street for traffic. One example: The stairs to the second floor were very steep and difficult to climb for an older person. There was a stairlift but the host was very reluctant to let the elderly person in our group use it. She was not accommodating to needs at all. The host was hovering over us all the time, intruding and interfering. We do not recommend this accommodation. This host should not be in this business. She doesn't have the people skills for it

The Dragonfly Dreams Inn in Midland ON Let's start with the positives, shall we? The place is clean with well appointed/furnished rooms. My bed was super comfy (double) in the Beach Cottage room. The TV wouldn't work. She tried; but there was no signal. The light bulb on the little lamp by the TV was burned out. For my 2 night stay, there was a tiny HALF mini bottle of shampoo and no conditioner. The screened-in porch/veranda is exquisite; although, I did not get to use it during my two night stay for reasons I will get to. The main floor though pretty, is cluttered with knick knacks in both the living room and dining room. Too busy and not very relaxing. Now to the owner innkeeper: Context When I called her back in May to book my two nights for June 17 & 18th, 2022, she was perfectly wonderful! I mentioned that my nephew/godson was getting married nearby and also, that my mom was dying in a hospice nearby. I was totally looking forward to a relaxing and zen weekend. This seemed far better than staying at a generic hotel(s). Upon arrival, I was provided with a litany of rules (a list of those rules provided in the room) and a bombardment of questions as well. I asked can I stay at the Inn during the day (just to be sure) and she replied that all paid guests could. The next day Saturday (wedding day), she informed me that she had to drive to Orillia to go and get a remote controlled ceiling fan she purchased already. I would have to leave the B & B by noon, latest 12:30 pm. I had enough going on and now I was rushed out the door for a stay that I could stay at during the day. I already had mentioned to said innkeeper (out of courtesy) that my son's girlfriend was coming by around 10:30 am to get ready (makeup and hair only) together and then go to the hospice to get my mother ready afterwards. The house was where the wedding was at and she had to vacate for the big day. The owner was giving me a hard time whereas, I was quite accommodating with her request to my leaving early for the day. She enquired with us, all her guests would be returning home that night. I had no idea as I was going to a wedding. She engineered a plan between me and another guest to lock-up with whomever came in last. It was me apparently and I must of screwed up as she lectured me about it the next morning because I misunderstood her convoluted plan. I had planned to 'sleep-in' later after a long day night (even stating that I opted for lunch instead of breakfast) and I was awoken by her two little barking dogs at 8 AM on both mornings!!! On Sunday, while eating my lunch (pasta, canned tomatoes, chickpeas, on 2 halves of zucchini round slice and very little sprinkling of cheese on top NOT like her advertized lunches on her website): she pounced on me about something of a missing Wifi password card. I told her that I didn't know anything about that as I only used my smartphone data and I didn't need no wifi password. Lastly: Said Innkeeper has yet to
