The Dragonfly Dreams Inn in Midland ON Let's start with the positives, shall we? The place is clean with well appointed/furnished rooms. My bed was super comfy (double) in the Beach Cottage room. The TV wouldn't work. She tried; but there was no signal. The light bulb on the little lamp by the TV was burned out. For my 2 night stay, there was a tiny HALF mini bottle of shampoo and no conditioner. The screened-in porch/veranda is exquisite; although, I did not get to use it during my two night stay for reasons I will get to. The main floor though pretty, is cluttered with knick knacks in both the living room and dining room. Too busy and not very relaxing. Now to the owner innkeeper: Context When I called her back in May to book my two nights for June 17 & 18th, 2022, she was perfectly wonderful! I mentioned that my nephew/godson was getting married nearby and also, that my mom was dying in a hospice nearby. I was totally looking forward to a relaxing and zen weekend. This seemed far better than staying at a generic hotel(s). Upon arrival, I was provided with a litany of rules (a list of those rules provided in the room) and a bombardment of questions as well. I asked can I stay at the Inn during the day (just to be sure) and she replied that all paid guests could. The next day Saturday (wedding day), she informed me that she had to drive to Orillia to go and get a remote controlled ceiling fan she purchased already. I would have to leave the B & B by noon, latest 12:30 pm. I had enough going on and now I was rushed out the door for a stay that I could stay at during the day. I already had mentioned to said innkeeper (out of courtesy) that my son's girlfriend was coming by around 10:30 am to get ready (makeup and hair only) together and then go to the hospice to get my mother ready afterwards. The house was where the wedding was at and she had to vacate for the big day. The owner was giving me a hard time whereas, I was quite accommodating with her request to my leaving early for the day. She enquired with us, all her guests would be returning home that night. I had no idea as I was going to a wedding. She engineered a plan between me and another guest to lock-up with whomever came in last. It was me apparently and I must of screwed up as she lectured me about it the next morning because I misunderstood her convoluted plan. I had planned to 'sleep-in' later after a long day night (even stating that I opted for lunch instead of breakfast) and I was awoken by her two little barking dogs at 8 AM on both mornings!!! On Sunday, while eating my lunch (pasta, canned tomatoes, chickpeas, on 2 halves of zucchini round slice and very little sprinkling of cheese on top NOT like her advertized lunches on her website): she pounced on me about something of a missing Wifi password card. I told her that I didn't know anything about that as I only used my smartphone data and I didn't need no wifi password. Lastly: Said Innkeeper has yet to
