I think it's rare to find an inn where you can use a private bath for a day trip. I was able to make a reservation easily through Jalan. The changing room is at outside temperature, so it can be tough in the winter, but once you get in the bath, the spring water seems to warm you up well and it was enjoyable. There is a lot of mineral deposits in the bath, so it may be a concern for those who don't like that. You can also use the large public bath on the top floor, so it was a double treat.
