I truly cannot think of enough superlatives to do this amazing resort justice! We have traveled to over 45 countries and this resort is top on our list . The staff couldn’t be more caring and helpful , the food fresh and delicious and the activities SO much fun. We particularly loved the butterfly facility, hike in the cloud forest to the waterfall , chocolate and coffee presentation/shop and sitting on the balcony of our lovely suite with a gin and tonic. I will truly keep there memories in my heart for a very long time !

This is one of the most relaxing and friendly hotels I’ve ever stayed at. The setting is very peaceful & remote. The staff is amazing. I loved every minute. The service is top notch and I highly suggest getting a massage. The location is within easy walking distance to the teleferico and access up to the waterfall hikes.

Wonderful ambience and service! Marco was awesome! My daughters and I had a such a lovely time! The room was so comfortable and the view was magnificent. The staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was plentiful and delicious! Thanks!

This is a 5 star beautiful hotel in Mindo Ecuador. We arrived from Quito along a back road which took almost 6 hours. The hotel staff greeted us and fed us very well. The rooms were extremely clean and had wonderful views! Loved it and will be back.

We absolutely loved our stay at Las Terrazas de Dana. The grounds are surrounded by beautiful landscaping with hummingbirds flying around. The rooms are immaculate and lots of thought went into creating a welcoming, luxurious suite. I appreciate that plenty of fluffy towels were provide and even the toilet paper was scented. As incredible as the room & soaking tub were, the best part was the amazing balcony overlooking the surrounding jungle and mountains. We really enjoyed sitting outside and there is also a large window with dining table so that we could eat indoors and still feel like we were outside. The staff were very welcoming and willing to provide any assistance needed from ordering taxis, room service and even birding tours. We will be thinking about the beauty of Las Terrazas de Dana for a long time and would definitely return if we ever find ourselves in Mindo again.

We stayed for four beautiful nights at Las Terrazas de Dana in Mindo. The hotel is gorgeous - with views over the expansive cloud forest. We had a lot to do and see during our time here - bird watching, hiking and taking part in some of the unique activities Mindo offers. We were very happy with our accommodations and David, Angel, Natalia, and the rest of the staff were always kind and helpful. , even surprising my husband with a chocolate birthday cake! It is a luxurious place with delicious food. Thank you to everyone for the wonderful visit.

Beautiful 5 star resort in Mindo!!! The experience at the resort was the highlight of our trip! Not only was it beautiful but the entire team made our stay so relaxing & carefree. The food was outstanding too. We will definitely be coming back.

We spent 2 nights at Las Terrazas de Dada and absolutely loved it. The hotel is beautiful - it is situated amongst lush tropical gardens with native birds everywhere. There are lots of hummingbirds at the hummingbird feeders. We had a room for 3 people but it could have easily accommodate 4. The pool area is magnificent, we spent our last morning swimming and lazing around there. The food was also excellent, with plenty of choice. Breakfast was included in our room rate. Lunches and dinners were delicious. The duenos are very friendly and helpful. I organised the morning birding tour online with them before we arrived and it was excellent. They are also a great source of information on what to do in the local area. If you want to go into Mindo town it only costs 2USD and the hotel will call a taxi, so don’t be put off by the distance of the hotel from the town. There are many taxis in town to bring you back to the hotel, we even once had the people at the tereferico call us a taxi to come from town to take us back to the hotel. I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Las Terrazas de Dana and would not hesitate to recommend it.

Beautiful hotel and grounds with wonderful views off our back deck. The 2 person jetted tube was just what was needed after a day long hiking treks. Friendly and professional staff and we enjoyed a very good dinner on site and the included breakfast had several options and you can choose all you wish to eat.
