After 6 years, I chose Watermark Hotel in Miyako Island. I am very satisfied with it. The hotel room is nearly 40 square meters, which is really large, spacious and bright in Japanese hotels. The hotel is very new, the service attitude is good, and the room has a sea view. You can also see the planes taking off and landing. I will choose to stay here next time. Thank you

The room was clean and spacious, I was very satisfied! It was a waste to only stay for one night, it was a wonderful hotel that I would like to use again.

The building was brand new and well-cleaned. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. I think the best thing about this hotel is the spectacular view of Sawada Beach from the guest rooms. If you have a rental car, it's not too difficult to get to Hirara's downtown.

A hotel close to Shimojishima Airport. The hotel is clean, quiet, and nice overall. The weather is cloudy, and you can get a good ocean view even on the second floor. The outdoor pool is not open this season, so please take note when making a reservation. I had made a reservation to use the outdoor pool, but I was personally disappointed, but I had a comfortable stay during my two-night stay. The water pressure was great, and there was an air purifier. I was grateful to the front desk staff who were kind and helpful.

I booked this hotel because I wanted to go to 17end. The room on the first floor smelled a bit musty, so I moved to a room on the 4th floor facing the sea. Because the air conditioner leaked, I moved to the room next door. There is an infinity swimming pool on the 4th floor, which is nice facing the sea. However, because there are not many people staying, there is almost no one in the swimming pool. The seats on the side are also in a mess, and it seems that they are not often maintained. There was an older service staff member at the front desk who was a little unresponsive. There is nothing to do around the hotel. After nightfall, the surroundings are dark and very quiet. I didn’t experience breakfast and got up late. If you want to see the sea quietly, I recommend it, but if you like the excitement, I don’t recommend it.

The hotel balcony looks out to the Sawada Beach. You can see the planes taking off and landing at Shimojijima Airport. You can see the sunset from the restaurant. You can see the stars from the rooftop swimming pool. At night, you can see the Milky Way fifty meters away from the hotel. There is nothing wrong with it except for the remote location. There are no shops around, and it is not easy to take a taxi. If you want to live here, remember to charter a car or rent a car, otherwise it will be really difficult to move around. Then, I must praise the staff of this restaurant! Especially the people at the front desk and the restaurant are not very fluent in English, Japanese and gesticulating, but everyone is very energetic, communicates very patiently, and gives us a lot of help. Just forget it’s more expensive if you book with Ctrip! The booking treatment is different from that of nationals from your own country! I arrived at the hotel at 17:37 and was told that I could only check in at 18:00. I was also asked by the front desk to show my ID if I live in Japan! ! Remind Ctrip that you must check out at 9:00 for reservations. If you exceed the time limit, you will be charged 3,000 yen! Reservations outside Ctrip seem to be between 15:00-10:00 (to be confirmed) The hotel has its own restaurant, the taste is okay and the variety is small! The service attitude of the staff is a bit like that of domestic government departments haha

The hotel is on Irabu Island, a little far from the airport and the city center, so it's a bit difficult to get around without a car. But the sea view is very beautiful, and there are several scenic spots around that are very photogenic! The food in the restaurant is also delicious and really cheap 😂 It's a price that you can't imagine in Tokyo, and the staff are also very enthusiastic!

There is a good noodle shop nearby, and the hotel can also order pizza for delivery.

The location is on Irabu Island, about half an hour's drive from the airport. The hotel is very new, the rooms are relatively large, and the sea-facing scenery is not bad, but the nearby beach is small, so it is not suitable for staying here if you want to do marine activities, but other than that, the hotel can rent bicycles, binoculars, a swimming pool, and even comics House, all kinds of facilities are still very complete. Personally, I think that many of the worth-seeing spots on Miyako Island are in Irabe and Shimoji Island, so if you live here, you can walk around in half a day.

Perhaps because of its location on Irabu Island, there were few foreigners and we were able to spend a quiet and relaxing time. The best thing about the food was that we could eat seafood bowls in the morning. We also had waffles that you can make yourself, which are high in calories but we had them every day. When it comes to breakfast, most hotels tend to be crowded and irritating, but here it's not crowded and you can eat at your own pace. The good thing about the room is that the toilet is in a separate bathroom, so the washing area is spacious and you can take your time in the bath. Also, because it's on a low floor, you can see the ocean from the balcony really close by. This was my first time staying here, but I really liked it because it felt like a hideaway. I'll use it again when I go to Miyakojima.
