Great manor-style hotel with large and comfortable rooms. The restaurant and bar taste good. The staff are friendly and enthusiastic. The parking is convenient and free. Originally, it was a noble manor, with a large private territory and beautiful surroundings.
Wonderful place! We really loved our time here, even though it was only for a day! If we didn't have a flight to catch, we would have extended our stay. The house is in an excellent location, beautiful area, easy walking distance to pubs, restaurants, and cafes. Very close to the airport, which made taking our flight the next day an easy and stress free process. The Lawn has an interesting history, and they provide a lovely folder in the room which explains it all, while also including any information your might need for your stay. The room itself is cosy, clean, and full of charming touches. Breakfast the next day was also a treat. Quasim and his wife are so friendly and made sure our stay was as nice as possible.

I stayed here last night due to a last-minute flight cancellation. I was really grateful to find a room so close — the hotel is right next to the terminal, which made everything much easier, especially after a stressful travel day.
The check-in process was smooth, the staff were helpful, and the room was clean and quiet despite the airport location. I didn’t expect much because it was such a sudden booking, but I was pleasantly surprised by how convenient and comfortable the stay was.
Perfect for an overnight stop or unexpected delays. Definitely a solid choice if you need to stay near the airport.
Brilliant location, only 5 minutes by bus from/to Gatwick Airport with a bus stop located outside the Guest House. My flight arrived after midnight, but after calling them 24 hours in advance, letting them know they left my room keys in a safe place. Very well informed of how to get there. It's a family run business, and they do care about their customers! Opted in for a continental breakfast, and I was also offered a homemade cake for free!
The place does show its signs of age and will definitely benefit from having a renovation. But otherwise, everything else was fantastic!
Stayed for an early morning flight from LGW. The staff was nice and helpful. The room was clean and have enough amenities. The food was ready from 6 am, but the taste was not that great. They provide airport shuttle service for a fair price.
The hotel is right next to Gatwick Airport's North Terminal, making its location extremely convenient. It was perfect for catching an early morning flight or for a last-night stopover before departing the UK. Traveling as two adults and one child, we booked a family room. The room wasn't particularly spacious; in fact, it felt a bit cramped. It had one large bed and a sofa bed, and we found the beds quite comfortable. Although the room was small, the cleanliness and overall hygiene were decent. Self check-in and check-out were available. We would definitely consider staying here again if we need to catch a flight from this airport in the future.
Room was in a difffent building to one pictured on website, no one helped with my bags, building smelt of ****, super thin walls to the point where I could hear someone else snoring. definitely a reason why it’s so cheap.
I had a wonderful 3 nights stay in this hotel. Choose this place because of late arrival at Gatwick Airport plus departure from there as well. Easy to go to London central and Brighton via train. The room was huge and the bed was comfortable. The amenities were well provided. Also, the staff was so nice to give me a late check out since my flight has late departure.
