A great resort, located in the jungle by the lake. The rooms are very spacious and clean. There is a beautiful swimming pool. The facilities are not new, and the air conditioner stopped working in the middle of the night.

The property is located in front of the lake. Immersed in nature it is very suggestive.
We arrived around 6pm and unfortunately the pool closed at 6.30pm so we didn't have time to test it. They offer free spa service but massages are subject to charges.
The restaurant is well stocked with alcohol, you can eat discreetly buffet-style cuisine, both typical Asian and international, for around €15 per person. Breakfast is also a buffet; you can find sweet/savory products and freshly cooked eggs.
Our room (deluxe double) was very nice, on two levels: in the lower part the bathroom has a particular concept. A sliding door takes you directly into the room with a half roof covered only by a net. All very beautiful but impractical and above all there is the risk of finding many insects, as in our case.
In the upper part there is the bedroom, very comfortable.
The upholstery is not entirely clean and this contrasts with the entire structure.

We stayed for only one night and we regret the instantly not staying for two days. Hotel is really beautiful and calm. It’s a great place to have a relaxed vacation with your family or friends. Food is decent and staff is really friendly. Hotel is situated in front of the Girithale lake and you should see the sunset. It’s mesmerizing.

We had the most wonderful and relaxing 2 day stay at Deer Park Hotel Giritale. The cottages are lovely, and the concept of open-air bathrooms is great!! The view from the hotel is breathtaking with such a tranquil atmosphere and gorgeous sunsets in the evening. At night, the whole garden is lit up and looked just magical . Delicious food and amazing, helpful staff. The pool was just outside our cottage, which made it so convenient for us. Special thanks to Mr Nizar and Mr Joseph, who always made it a point to check up on us and see that we had everything we needed. Thank you, staff and management, for the great hospitality, and we will return soon.

One of the most beautiful hotels I've stayed at. The surroundings are serene with a beautiful view of the lake and covered in thick lush greenery. The service was exceptional with the staff going above and beyond. The rooms were so comfortable and the open showers in the rooms are amazing.

We had a wonderful weekend at Deer Park Hotel. Hotel is surrounded by trees,overlooking the Girithale lake. The environment was relaxing and quiet. The pools were amazing and kids enjoyed the stay. Rooms were cozy and comfortable. However, better if the beds can be in ground level with more lighting in room and washroom. Buffet could be much better with kids friendly food. Most of meat dishes were not flavorful and over cooked.

I had a wonderful weekend at Deer Park hotel.,The staff was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable. The room was spotless, the food was delicious, and the overall atmosphere was perfect for a relaxing getaway. A big thanks to the entire team—I’ll definitely be back!
