Charis the host is very friendly very responsive and helpful! It’s a great stay. The sofa bed is too soft and spring, not too good to sleep on. We wanted to cycle for 20 minutes along the lake but it cost $10 for an hour so we decided not to since we don’t have enough time.

Fleets of mosquito!! We open the window as it was stuffy when we entered the room. Then, we were in shock when we saw infestation of these insects crowdee round the ceiling lights. Fortunately, the room aircon is cold and thus resulting them to be lethargic. And we went around the room and smashed each.

The one-bedroom and one-living room is more soundproofed. It's great to have a direct view of the lake from the living room. Parking is also convenient. Dining is not far away. It's great. The service is very friendly.

Great hotel stay with complete amenities for self cook dinner, located by the lake front with breathtaking sunset set view! And we have new pets for the day, cutie cat welcome us to Accent! Overall is great except for the insulation around the house not strong enough as it can be quite cold during night …. Highly recommended for families and groups of friends enjoy the stay here.

The motel is clean and luckily close to some food places as they did not have in house restaurant. The room is a bit small, luckily I was staying alone. I accidentally left my water bottle and they wrote to let me know. That's nice of them.

I arrived in Taupo on the morning Air NZ flight from AKL, upon arrival at the Chevron Motel, 4 hours before the published check-in time, I had planned to ask to have my luggage stored while I go about other business. The receptionist kindly asked me to wait while she checked to see if my room was ready, and if so, I could have my room right away. Lucky for me it was, I was very pleased with the initiative and flexibility offered. My booking included a living area with dining table, kitchen, sofa, spare single bed, a separate bedroom, and a dedicated parking space. My stay of 5 nights was very comfortable, and I will definitely use this motel again on my next visit. I would like to offer a few suggestions for improvements, first - a split type AC unit was present in the living room, it would be great if there could be a second unit installed in the bedroom. Internet connectivity, available 24/7, while adequate, did have limited bandwidth affecting video streaming from Netflix/YouTube etc. Lastly, it would be great if the TV provided in the living room had a larger screen. In summary, I was very pleased with my stay at the Chevron Motel, the room offered great value for money, and I was completely relaxed and comfortable during my stay.

This motel is a basic 3 star facility. The carpet was a bit worn and the bed comfort was okay but could be better. Location is about a 20 minute walk or 3 minute drive to shopping and good restaurants. The beach is a 5 minute walk, but a good Sandy beach would be a 5 minute drive. Nothing fancy but a good value for the price paid.

Stayed in room 837 right up the back. The room was dark and not nice at all! Was ok for 1 night. Staff were friendly. Close to everything. There is a bar/restaurant next door. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

The public area is clean, the location is not far from the central area, and it is very convenient for self-driving tours. The basic facilities are simple but neat and clean. It is very comfortable in autumn, and it may be a bit hot in summer because there is no air conditioning in the room. Overall, I am very satisfied. 

Because of the epidemic, the prices are so cheap. This time is suitable for going out. There are not many guests in the motel, so you don’t have to worry about disturbing others at night. The spa is very spacious and comfortable. I brought my own wine to the past. The overall feeling is very good. it is good
