We arrived after a long drive from Athens and were delighted by both the location (set away from the main town surrounded by Olive groves) and the vibe. It’s a beautiful hotel that’s been done to a high standard. Our room was really lovely and had a living room and balcony with a fantastic view over the city. It felt very luxurious but not pretentious or stuffy. The restaurant was superb, but is right next to the pool if you have little ones. They even let us eat in our room for no extra charge (when our toddler was being particularly challenging!). The breakfast was great, the pool was small but perfect, you’re close to the castle and the beach. Nafplio was a 10 min jog down the hill or a 20 min walk and there is free parking at the port. There are a lot of steps and level changes at the hotel if you have adventurous little ones, just beware. But we had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful. In a valley. I think I messed up and thought it was a few blocks off the Mediterranean. My bad. About 3 -4 kilometers from med.

Things to know before booking
The room doesn’t look like the photo on the website. We had a double room and the room was very small, the worst is the washroom, super tiny and water splash everywhere. It’s impossible to shower without water running out of the shower. No black out curtain in the bedroom! However, the lady at Check in was nice.

Very small family run hotel, around 20 mins walk from Nafplio city center. If you come here without a car, keep the walk in mind. Guests seem to be mostly locals and the vibe is very relaxed. The pool is lovely and there are some very sweet cats around. It is clear that the owners care a lot. Food-wise, the souvlaki was absolutely huge and was a particular standout. Even the roast potatoes that came with it was out of the world.

Really lovely boutique hotel tucked up in the hills above Nafplio, but still only a quick drive to the old town and the Palamidi. The grounds are beautiful and quiet. Highly recommend!
