This hotel offers great value for money. It's very clean and the staff are all fantastic, especially the doorman on the first floor who always opened the door for us, no matter the time – we were really impressed! The breakfast was delicious. My friend and I had a lovely two-night stay. It's within walking distance to shopping malls, restaurants, and famous shops. I highly recommend Ping Kee Fish Soup; it's so fresh and tasty!

The location of hotel is proximity the best. It is short walking (5-10minutes) distance to very authentic local wet market (Penuine market), accessible to A2 foodcourt, and Grant Batam Mall. It is also short driving distance (grab) to various attractions at around 10minutes. The room is spacious, clean and nice smell. There are capsule coffee, spray fragrance, slipper and toileteries assesoriea supplying. Staff are friendly and very nice. Breakfast is very good too. Overall the best staying experience.

Not my first time staying here. Still enjoying the fact that it's located in the middle of town centre Penuin. For those who like to be like the locals & eat like locals, this hotel is perfect. The room was very decent in size, clean & bright with full window. Check-in & check out was a breeze. The breakfast spreads were very decent with a mix of continental & local. They even have indomie cook to order for your breakfast 😁 I also like that they have a big, spacious and nice smoking lounge in the lobby, not a dingy afterthought space. This is a 3 stars hotel, so don't expect those hotel amenities like swimming pool, gym or fancy restaurant.

Returned stays with Artotel. We are always happy with our stays. Great location - walking distance within 3 ~ 5 mins to Grand Batam Mall, BCS Mall, A2 Foodcourt, as well as the Peniun Market. Breakfast spread were great - with live eggs and noodles station. Room were clean and spacious. Lion dance on the 1st day of CNY was truely a surprise to all of us!!! Highly recommended!!

Great location, within walking distance to Grand Batam Mall & BCS Mall. Penuin market is just next to the hotel, good place to buy snacks and dried goods like ikan bills, silverfish etc. There are quite some massage places near hotel, with one just downstairs in front of hotel RE Massage. Room is very spacious, bed and pillow are very comfortable, bathroom is also very spacious. Breakfast selection is decent. Very value for money, will come back again.

I really enjoyed my stay in this hotel - superb location (very very near Grand Batam Mall, A2 Food Court, Penuin markets), it was opposite a convenience store and a really good massage place. service was great and all the staff was very smiley and friendly. the hotel breakfast was so good! changed every day so you get to try different things. even had a lion dance performance on CNY day 1! the room was spacious and comfortable - beds and pillows were so comfy. shower water was hot and pressure was good, toilet had a bidet. had lavender scented pillow spray too! air con gets super cold but takes some time to cool. very easy location for Grab pick ups, close to nearly everything in the city like Nagoya. negatives: I booked two rooms for my parents and I - they got the smoking room on level 1 while I got the non-smoking room at level 7. the smoking room was ready at 2pm for check-in while the non-smoking room was only ready 1 hour later at 3pm which kind of ******. the bedding has a few black spots on them but it didn’t really bother me. the smoking room at level 1’s air con was not as strong as the non-smoking room. no conditioner provided in the toilets, and the shower gel/shampoo bottles are quite tiny but you can get the hotel staff to top it up at housekeeping or at the lobby. overall I’d definitely come back here again. loved this hotel!

Hotel is near to grand batam mall and bcs and wholesale market. Opposite has a massage place. The hotel staff are friendly. The rooms are clean. The hotels does not provide face towels and bath and shampoo are in small cubes. Better bring yr own items.
