Good location, small hotel that has a big room fit for 8 persons but only one bathroom. Even reception can speak only Japanese, but he can use translate and make us understand everything.

The hotel is close to Osu Kannon Station. It is only two stations away from Nagoya Station. It is very convenient to go to Osu Shopping Street nearby. The hotel has a free dryer and washing machine. It's great that our family of four can bring less clothes.

It was very spacious and beautiful. It was a bit of a walk from the station, but it was nice because it was close to major streets such as Solaria.

My friends and I were quite hesitant to try and book an unmanned hotel. But after staying at Grand Base Osu, we highly recommend this place. We stayed for 5 nights. Lobby is small, has a small counter with one person using his translator to communicate with us. It's keyless to enter your room, so he gives you a code to enter. He was very helpful in answering our questions. Room was very clean. We were 6, so we got the room with 3 beds each. It had a small area with a sofa and armchair. Had enough room to set our 3 luggages and 3 hand carry bags. Drawers, hangers, lots of outlets, slippers. The bathroom shower is big, toilet and sink had lots of space to settle down our toiletries. They provide fresh towels, toilet paper, tissue. But you have to take out and place in a basket your used towels. No cleaning service. No restaurant or coffee shop. There are some convenient stores around the area. Subway is about 10-15 min walk.

We loved our stay at Grand Base Osu. The room was spacious and the bathroom was huge! Loved the shower! The staff was helpful. Even though we do not speak Japanese the use of a translator app helped our communication. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely choose Grand Base Osu if we ever go back to Nagano.

Based on the entry photo, we expected a more traditional property. I don't think that is anyone's fault, but it made us feel a bit let down. The hotel itself was very clean and comfortable tho. No complaints. And we all loved the large bathroom.

Fantastic accommodation for family. Guy at desk doesn't speak much English (and I certainly don't speak Japanese) but we managed to find a way to communicate. Thank goodness for Google Translate! Clean accommodation and no complaints. Highly recommended.

Great hotel/apartment walking distance to the Osu shopping areas and food spots. The hotel is modern, nicely decorated, comfortable, spacious and offers all the amenities perfect for family. Reception staff was very polite, helpful, with limited English, however had google translate to help. Internet speeds is good, there is free onsite laundry with drying. Taxi to the hotel is approx ¥1000 from Nagoya JR, or catch metro + 10 minute walk.

The exterior was very beautiful and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. There was also a large public bath, so I was able to relax after a long day of travel and I'm really glad I was able to book and stay here. My family also liked it.
