Shangri-La Nanchang

This 12-day Chinese New Year family trip, Shangri-La Nanchang was by far the most comfortable hotel we stayed in. The location is superb, with convenient transportation. The tram downstairs goes directly to all the major popular attractions. What truly impressed me was the service; they genuinely made us feel at home. Check-in was very thoughtful. They proactively arranged our two rooms together and patiently explained why there was a connecting room in between (due to the king-size bed layout). They also meticulously inquired about all our needs. On the day we left, our child wasn't feeling well and fell asleep, and the hotel was incredibly accommodating, allowing us to extend our check-out until 2 PM without any rush or催促, which was particularly heartwarming. The room view was unbeatable, directly facing Tengwang Pavilion from the window. We could even watch the fireworks display from our room, and the staff even proactively reminded us to tune the TV to the music channel to accompany the viewing. Additionally, the robot delivery for takeout was very prompt, and the buffet dinner was affordable, delicious, and offered a wide variety of dishes. The overall experience was impeccable, highly recommended!

Moved here from the Swissôtel across the street, and both places offer different styles of river views. You can enjoy a distant view of the Pavilion of Prince Teng at night. The hotel breakfast is rich and varied, and the Cantonese dinner I ordered was delicious. The bellhop was very efficient. The guest traffic for check-ins isn't as busy as the hotel across the street, making it a top choice for guests who prefer a quieter stay. The bedding was comfortable and nice. Recommended.

A truly satisfying stay. From the doorman's pick-up and drop-off service to room service and Cherry Liu at the Executive Lounge, the service was incredibly thoughtful and much appreciated. The hotel's location is excellent, close to all the attractions, and the view from our scenic room was absolutely breathtaking. I also have to mention the hotel's breakfast – it was incredibly rich and varied, with dishes replenished promptly. I highly recommend Shangri-La when visiting Nanchang.

The hotel service was excellent, and the views were absolutely stunning. **Amenities:** The facilities were great, though the TV was a bit old. **Cleanliness:** Very clean. **Service:** The service was attentive; they even prepared toiletries for the kids, which was a nice touch! 👍

Happy Chinese New Year! My experience at Shangri-La Nanchang was superb. The hotel smells lovely, and the room offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the Gan River. I could enjoy the spectacular musical fountain show at Qiushui Square without even leaving the room – the night view was absolutely stunning and created an incredible atmosphere. The service was thoughtful and attentive. Overall, it was a comfortable and pleasant stay, making it an excellent choice for anyone visiting Nanchang. Highly recommended!!!

The room was clean and tidy, and we were given a high floor with a great view. The breakfast spread was generous, and the subway is right next to the hotel, making it super convenient to get to Bayi Square, Wanshou Palace, and Tengwang Pavilion. I'll definitely choose to stay here again next time I'm in Nanchang.
