We were delighted to find the Guildford Hotel for our short stay in Nanjing. The two double (1.5m) bed room we booked was spacious and perfect for a family of four. The hotel is very close to Fuzimiao Metro and the Confucius Temple area. The location made it a convenient base for exploring the city. We were upgraded to a room with a terrace. We had breakfast included with our rooms. Breakfast had a few made-to-order options to choose from and was more than ample. The staff presented us with small parting gifts of biscuits on our departure. All the staff were very helpful.

Great location, close to tourist spots. I got free upgrade as there’s a room facing river view. The front desk lady is really lovely and accommodating. She walked me to my room and introduce me to the facilities and so. Other staff are also nice and friendly. They offer free laundry service, plenty of compliment drinks and fruits upon check in. Breakfast is nicely presented.

Me and a friend went here for a short 2-day trip in Nanjing. The location of the hotel was very nice, it was directly at the heart of Nanjing next to the Confucius Temple. We were stunned by the view on the river, very beautiful. The staff was very friendly, even though I didn‘t speak Chinese that well. The cleaning was done diligently every day. The room itself was quite nice. If we ever return to Nanjing, we will definitely be booking here again!

Great location, clean and friendly hotel

The hotel boasts a convenient location within a few minutes’ walking distance to Fu Zi Miao. The deluxe family room is spacious enough to comfortably accommodate four adults. The room was clean, though there was a noticeable unpleasant odor from the bathroom if the door was left open. The service was outstanding. Although breakfast is typically served starting at 8 a.m., the staff graciously accommodated our request to serve it at 7 a.m. instead, allowing our schedule to proceed smoothly. Their flexibility and attentiveness were greatly appreciated

Booked this place for a 4 day trip to Nanjing. The location of this hotel was fantastic, right beside the Qinhuai river and very close to tourist and historical areas of the city! The rooms were well stocked, very clean and the voice assistant was of good use if you know Mandarin. The staff were super chill and very helpful if you have any questions. Food was on point as well! Would book again should I ever come back to Nanjing.

📍great location! You can walk to the Confucius temple, near for the subway 👥 staff is helpful and friendly 🛏️ the room has a lot of space, beds are comfortable but a little bit small for two adults. Need to improve the cleanliness of the floor, I spilled some water and when I dried the floor, the paper was very dirty (totally black) 🍳 The English breakfast is tasty

Very convenient and allowed us to check in earlier. The room was big and had a view of the river.

The hotel is superb! Located only 2 mins walk away from the bustling Fuzimiao area. The rooms are equipped with smart devices (Mandarin speaking inputs only) and breakfast was marvellous. The breakfast comes in 4 different set choices (Chinese and Western choices) and all of them taste delicious. The receptionist was also very helpful, we needed to ship an item to our next destination in Shanghai and he was more than happy to assist us to do so.

Central location, near the most popular area of Nanjing. Family beds are very small though
