Hu Yue Lakeview Hotel

You get a panoramic view of Sun Moon Lake, and it's also very convenient. There's a self-service laundry shop nearby. It was raining heavily during check-in, but thankfully the hotel provided umbrellas, which was a thoughtful touch.

The views are stunning, and the breakfast restaurant on the 8th floor offers fantastic scenery. The breakfast itself is also good. Even though I booked a street-view room, I could still see the lake because the hotel is so close to it. There are two downsides: the soundproofing is really poor. My own room's mini-fridge was incredibly loud, and even after I unplugged it, I could still hear the fridge from the next room. The hallway also gets very noisy at night when guests return. The restaurant recommended by the owner was nice, a bit pricey, but considering the location and views in a scenic area, it was worth it.

I'm 100% satisfied with the location here. You get an unobstructed view of the beautiful Sun Moon Lake, the cruise center is right nearby, and the cable car station is just a 10-minute walk at most. The cleanliness also gets a big thumbs up 👍. The breakfast is good too, with both Chinese and Western options. However, the mini-fridge and the automatic bidet in the room were just for show; they were broken and unusable. Also, the front desk staff seemed a bit aloof and wouldn't say an extra word to guests.

The hotel's location is excellent; you can see Sun Moon Lake right from your window, and the view is absolutely stunning. Plus, there's a snack street just downstairs, so it's incredibly convenient to grab a bite whenever you want. The only downside is that the hotel breakfast is pretty average.

The environment is beautiful, the rooms are clean, and the garden outside is stunning. Managers Wu and Wang from housekeeping were very welcoming. I'll definitely be back!
