Karlik Evi Boutique Hotel - Special Class

Hands down one of the best hotels in Cappadocia. The hospitality I received from the staff was by far the best I received in all of Turkey. I recommend this place to anyone on their honeymoon, wedding anniversary, or romantic retreat.

Everything was perfect from start to finish, We arrived to a warm welcome from the hotel manager who kindly gave us some delicious soup, we were then showed to our room even though we had arrived a few hours befor the check in time. The room was amazing, spotlessly clean with beautiful views, some extra balloons and flowers had been put in the room as we had informed the hotel we were staying for our honeymoon, Soon after we had settled there was a knock on the door and one of the staff gave us a congratulations sign with some gifte and treats from the hotel we were very touched at how thougtful this was. The hotel manager had kindly booked and arranged all of the activities that we had requested which we throughly enjoyed. All of the staff were exceptional, and made us feel welcome, The breakfast was delicious, we had fresh eggs cooked every morning with a huge selection of savory snacks and sweet cakes to choose from. The building has so much charm and charecter, the gardens were beautiful and peaceful. I could go on and on about how perfect our experience was! We could not recommend this hotel enough for a unique and unforgettable stay! Thank you to everyone at karlik Evi for making our honeymoon better than we ever imagined :) We hope to come and visit you all again, All the best Melissa and Ben xx

The hospitality we received as soon as we stepped foot into this hotel was simply amazing. A real family feel to the hotel and all staff are very helpful and friendly. The hotel booked a hot air balloon for us for a very good price and were always on hand to support us with anything we required. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cappadocia. The views from the panoramic rooms are simply a dream. It is also only a 7 minute drive into Goreme.

Made to feel so welcome from the moment we arrived! All staff were friendly and helpful.. Every day we had complimentary snacks bought to our room… would highly recommend! Breakfast is also an enormous selection, could not want for more..

We had such an amazing stay at Karlik Evil. The grounds and hotel were so beautiful. Our little boy loved running around the gardens and feeding the animals. Our room was perfect with an amazing view of the balloons each morning and the sunset on the castle each evening. The breakfast each morning was perfect, eating out in the garden with some amazing food. Every one of the staff were fantastic and we really couldn't ask for more. Could not recommend it highly enough, just such a great place. Thanks for having us.

We were super happy with our stay. The service was wonderful, and the atmosphere was relaxed and comfortable/fancy at the same time. The woman who owns the hotel obviously cares. The place was super clean in spite of being an oasis in a very dusty desert. Everyone went out of their way to meet every need and to overcome every barrier. The hotel has had artists there for retreats and they have accumulated all kinds of contemporary art. You wouldn’t think that would go with antiques and Turkish rugs, but they pull it off. Our rooms were large and had everything. Not new and not the latest this and that, but we felt secure and totally welcome. The WiFi was up all the time, bedding was fine (duvet/sheets). The plumbing worked perfectly (with dreamy water pressure). My guess is that the rooms on the top floor have the most jaw-dropping views imaginable. This is not the USA, so wash-cloths are not provided…but that should be no surprise to everyone else. The rooms include the typical overwhelming and wonderful Turkish breakfast (served inside or outside). Local wines are featured and reasonably priced…as are any meals or room service you could ever want. The best restaurant in the region (Millocal) is right next store, but seems to be under completely different ownership. We did go there twice and it was very competent contemporary-luxe. The hotel happily made reservations for meals and ballooning, which saved us worrying about language barriers and unfair prices. This is a completely unique and wonderful hotel that I am sure earns lots of praise and return business.

Let’s talk abt the property first. Located on the hills of Uchisar overlooking the magnificent views of Cappadocia valleys. This little palace gives you the most homey and cozy feeling. There are lots of beautiful hotels everywhere but you won’t find anything like this hotel where they have designed each and every room with a different interior decoration and theme. It’s quite visit that they have put their heart and soul in designing the hotel. The garden where 2 pools are located is truly a piece of heaven. Having a huge Turkish breakfast in the garden, listening to nature’s music where birds are chirping all day long really should be on your bucket list. Apart from that, they also have a little farm with horses, rabbits and other animals, it was so amazing to see all of that. Due to strong wind, we weren’t expecting to see hot air balloons. One day morning when I woke up and opened the blinds, to my surprise there were loads of hot air balloons flying right infront of my balcony with direct sunrise view. It was something out of a dream really. The photos of this hotel doesn’t do any justice to how beautiful everything really is. Let’s talk about the service now. I work in hotel industry for more than 10 years. I have travelled and stayed in various hotels both on leisure and work trips, so I know when a hotel’s service is genuine and up to the standard. Everyone here not only reaches the expectation, but they go out of there way to full-fill your wishes and make sure we enjoy our stay. It was my first time to Turkey so on the booking stage Mr. Alihan was extremely helpful in organizing everything. Upon arrival, I was so happy that they have already arranged a Tour Guide and booked our tours like Camel Ride, site seeing and etc. After that we had time to our selves and they helped with booking anything we wanted. Kudos to our tour guide Islam who was so lovely and helpful. Seems like he had good connection throughout Cappadocia which made everything so easy for us, such as the VIP treatment we got at the Wine Cellar in Uchisar. All the staff in the hotel were so friendly and welcoming. I would like to give special thanks to Mr. Abdulla who’s the owner of the hotel. He is available in the hotel throughout the day and takes care of everything like his baby. He puts his heart and mind in his beautiful hotel and that’s the reason why everything is so perfect in Karlic Evi. I was in tears to depart from the hotel because Mr. Abdulla and his team made us feel so special and staying in this hotel was the best decision. We will return for sure Insha Allah.
