Pullman Nairobi Upper Hill

I booked a 2-night stay over Saturday and Sunday while waiting for my 1am flight on Monday. I had just returned from a safari and was extremely tired, hoping to get some rest. Unfortunately, starting around 4am on Sunday, there was a lot of noise coming from the room directly in front of mine. It appeared to be a group occupying multiple rooms, shouting and moving between them. I called the lobby twice, and while the receptionist was kind and responsive in contacting the group, the noise continued, and I eventually gave up on trying to sleep. Later that afternoon, the tap and shower in my room stopped working. I had to call again to have it fixed, and even after it was restored, there was no hot water. I had a VERY cold shower. That said, I genuinely appreciated the food and the aesthetic of the property—the African artifacts in the hallways and the soaring ceilings made the place feel very special. It’s the kind of atmosphere I’d love to return to. However, because of the disruptions and inconvenience I experienced, I don’t think I’ll be coming back unless necessary.

I had the pleasure of dining at Pullman Mercure twice this month for two different family occasions, and both visits were truly outstanding. From the seamless booking handled by Moses, the F&B Manager to the exceptional quality of the food, every detail exceeded our expectations. the service staff lead by Maureen and her team, Oscar,Antony,Fred,Jacky and Charles were exeptional , courteous attentive and very welcoming and making us feel home away from home, The friday eat all you can berbeque and entertainment is something worth mentioning and perfectly executed. A special thank you to the General Manager, Mr. Ken, whose guest focused leadership clearly shapes the outstanding service culture across the property. Thank You team Pullman, will definately be back soon
