Demi's Place Bed and Breakfast

Just came back from a lovely three day whirlwind visit to Niagara on the Lake and stayed with Demi and Ed. This is a very nice place, well appointed rooms. We stayed in the Festival Room - their largest room. It was very comfortable! The place is charming with a lovely front porch and backyard gazebo, if you've got some time to sit back, relax and enjoy a bottle of local wine. The B&B is very well located, walking distance to restaurants, shops and theatres. We were able to leave the car parked for most of our stay. Demi and Ed were extremely knowledgeable about local venues, had maps and brochures on hand. They had collected some discount cards for wine tastings, which were very much appreciated. The only disappointing part of the stay was the breakfast. It was truly a continental breakfast with breads, cereals, yogurt and cut fruit. All the pastries were commercial grocery store variety. It was sufficient to get your day started but plan to need a stop for lunch somewhere in the area.

We have stayed at Demi's place for 4-5 years and it is always our first choice when planning our trip to Niagara on the Lake. The location is convenient to Queen Street and to all of the theaters. We usually stay in the Festival Room and it is comfortable and spacious, and the en suite bathroom is like a luxury spa. Our favorite part of the property is the wonderful gazebo in the back yard for relaxing with a glass of wine and friends. Demi and Ed are attentive to every need. We always look forward to our stay and plan to go back next summer.

Our stay at Demi's Place last September was indeed the best we have experienced in recent years at Niagara-on-the-Lake where we go almost every year for the Shaw Festival. Demi and Ed, the owners were most hospitable and responded to every request always with a smile. The accommodation was meticulously clean and comfortable. We felt very much at home and hope to return again next year.

We were very happy to have stayed at Demi's B&B this past weekend, and would highly recommend it to others. We joined two other couples here and it worked beautifully. We enjoyed both the beautiful backyard and the quiet front porch, appreciate the peacefulness of both this home and the neighbourhood. It is very conveniently located to everything we did on the weekend. The breakfasts were 1st class. Hoping to enjoy this place again next year.

We loved this B&B! First of all, there are a number of outdoor spaces that were just perfect to have coffee or a drink. The front porch was lovely and the backyard had a number of seating spaces in specific alcoves. There was a babbling brook and a lovely covered area to sit on lovely cushioned chairs, loveseats, etc. So wonderful with lovely gardens, as well. The rooms are on the smaller side, but with everything one needs. Our queen room had a fabulous shower that was very relaxing! It also had a chair, a luggage rack and a desk for work, if needed. The front room is perfect for sitting and conversations, reading or doing your remote work. I sat there every morning for several hours and truly enjoyed the music and the quiet. The breakfasts were wonderful! We had yogurt and fruit as a starter with a variety of egg dishes over the time we were there, as well as orange juice or other fruit juices. Our hosts were easy and always wanted to know our needs. Tea, coffee is served all day and the breakfast coffees are great! Will definitely return. Couldn’t have asked for a nicer stay and we’ve done several B&B’s in the area. This will be a favorite of ours!

What a wonderful place to stage your visit to Niagara on the Lake. We went for a weekend with another couple. The home is so clean and comfortable and the owners so welcoming and hospitable. You will be situated within a short walk to Queen St for dining and shopping. There is a beautiful backyard for sitting outside among the gardens with privacy and charm. Also a lovely sitting room inside the house for enjoying a glass of wine and conversation with friends. The included breakfast was amazing and different each day. Among the best that we have experienced at any B&B we visited in our travels. Ed and Demi had excellent recommendations for restaurants and wineries to visit. We were never disappointed. Looking forward to visiting again and staying at Demi’s Place.
