I chose many B&Bs in Fenghua Xikou, and this one has good value for money. It’s a newly opened B&B and I feel it’s pretty good. Each room is unique and every corner has an artistic feel. Moreover, the breakfast at the B&B is also very delicious. They are all mountain delicacies made by the proprietress herself. My family likes them very much. The location of the B&B is also very good. You can overlook the entire Xikou Ancient Town. The B&B is inside the Xuedou Mountain Scenic Area, very close to the Jiang's Former Residence, Yingmengli Town, and the Maitreya Altar, making it very suitable for family outings.

GGuest UserLocated in a village near Cicheng, it is about half an hour's drive from downtown Ningbo and about two hours from Shanghai. It is a quiet and convenient location.
The housekeeper will contact in advance to confirm the dinner and bathing time. The special bathing pool is by appointment, which is basically a private bath experience. It is very comfortable.
The restaurant tastes good, the stir-fried asparagus is very tender, and a bowl of glutinous rice balls was given when checking in during the Lantern Festival, which is very considerate.
It is very comfortable to stroll around the bamboo forest pond in the village in the morning. The rape flowers are about to bloom recently, and it is a good place for leisure and vacation.

TTpderrickHotel service quality is the best for our China trip. Hotel is relatively close to 天一广场（around 5mins) where musical fountain show being performed around 8.30pm (after dinner)。 Front desk staff are very helpful and special praises to 九月 and Cici. 九月 recommended 阿毛饭店 that serves delicious Ningbo cruisines and join their gold card membership for only Rmb39 which includes 6 breakfast vouchers per year. Besides popcorn, they also serve dessert supper to our room even past their room service hours (7.30pm to 9pm). On site laundry service collection & delivery can also be arranged. Front service, Cici, also helped to carry our luggages to board didi car before departing to Ningbo station. Many thanks!

GGuest UserWe had a great time at this hotel. They upgraded our rooms to lake view and provided us an exclusive butler whose name is MaoJiaXin. She is very helpful and attentive to our needs. She makes it easier for us to enjoy our stay at the hotel. In addition, they have a lot of amenities the children can enjoy. We wished we could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back again.

Peter took the initiative to upgrade our one-bedroom suite, which faces the night view of Yongxin River, and hand-painted the best shooting routes around. When we adjusted our schedule temporarily on rainy days, the Moon Lake View Cafe he recommended unexpectedly became the highlight of the trip.
Shuke's service was meticulous:
• He took the initiative to contact the courier and disinfected it for us in person
• He remembered our coffee preferences and took the initiative to inform the store of discounts
• When we were catching an early flight, he prepared a warm breakfast at 5 o'clock
Their service was not overly enthusiastic, but they always solved practical problems at critical moments, making our travel worry-free and warm.

GGuest UserThis hotel had some wonderful review which actually led me to book it for the first time . This was my third visit to the property. Based on my experience over the three visit which were rather lengthy this hotel’s target market is predominantly local market . If compared to their international franchise 4 star peers the hotel lacks in many areas.
1. They offer a good spread of buffet breakfast but the assortment is mostly focused on locals guests . The selection seldom changes.
2. The bakery products offered were not fresh . Found to be cold and stale
3. Fresh fruits were found to be mixed with stale ones , not sure if they used the ones from the previous days .
4. House keeping was not the best , often found coffee-tea cups not cleaned or replaced .
5. Requested for in room complimentary coffee instead of tea . They sell coffee pouches at lobby, but instead they ask me to go down and ask for coffee at the lobby.
6. The small gym does not have any sanitiser tissue to clean the equipment before use .
7. At the lobby they have a cafe which is also the office for the hotel management staff. In the evening the area is completely mosquito infested , difficult to sit even for 5 minutes .
8. The hotel turned off the Cookson’s system , inside room temperature went up to 29 degree C. After repeated request they did something but that also did not take the temperature below 24 Degrees.
9. The hotel needs serious consideration about training the lobby staffs . A simple way to explain is their face is curved in stone . No emotion!
10. They need to review their safety protocol, they sent my guest directly to the room without even asking .
For many my comments may not matter for some it may . I have spent almost 10 days on my last visit so I can’t ignore those .
The best part of the stay was Mary ( forgot to ask her position). I think she’s the manager . She is the ideal face of a hotel . She has been the most pleasant and supportive among all the staffs at the hotel.

All questions were answered, at the reception there are lovely young ladies who speak excellent English. Fresh, tasty buffet breakfast, fragrant coffee. EErnst NZThis is an interesting place as it’s old, contemporary style of an area past, dim lights everywhere, traditional wooden panels alongside huge heigh ceilings. It brings back a time of glamour, reminded me of the Titanic in its former glory. Yet the rooms are crammed, I hit my foot twice on the floor bed corner. The staff are friendly and helpful, english is spoken at reception. Would i stay here again? Probably not, as the darkness of the room, ( windows do open slightly) felt depressing.
