"I happened to be there during a typhoon. The hotel offered many conveniences, though my stay was short. It was cloudy and I experienced heavy rain and strong winds. Despite all that, I still fell in love with Ningbo, thanks to the hotel restaurant's amazing food. They are excellent cooks, and the solo meal was incredibly good value. The hotel was very clean, and being on a high floor wasn't uncomfortable. I did have to turn off the room's AC though, as it got a bit chilly. I still think the 'Three Rivers View' room is the best choice."

The executive lounge offers afternoon tea, a light dinner, and various soft drinks, cocktails, and beers in the evening – great for enjoying the view and unwinding. We arrived quite early, and they upgraded our room to a top-floor suite. Although the upgraded room faced the river, the parapet wall on the top floor obstructed the view, so we couldn't see the full river panorama. The front desk suggested we go to the executive lounge for the view, and indeed, the lounge offered a fantastic vista. The breakfast selection was also quite extensive. The buffet dinner for hotel guests was offered at a discounted rate."

"I came to Daniu Mountain to appreciate the plum blossoms and stayed in this B&B at night. It really overturned my perception of B&Bs! This is definitely a treasure homestay. The community has a beautiful environment, the guest rooms are fully equipped, the decoration is grand, the rooms are spacious and bright, well ventilated, and the windows are clean. There is no depressing feeling like that of a guesthouse or a hotel at all! The most important thing is that it is really clean and tidy, every corner makes people feel at ease, the boss lady is very nice and the service is meticulous! Sitting on the balcony, all the fatigue of the day was blown away by the wind. I took many photos of the Red Bridge, and the yacht marina felt like a small Dubai! Convenient parking and takeaway delivered directly to the room! I am very happy to be here today, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, allowing my mind and body to have a good vacation! Will come again, highly recommended!"

"Compared to other New Century Hotels, the New Century Grand Hotel Ningbo really needs a major upgrade. It falls short in many aspects. Breakfast often involves long queues. It took ten minutes for noodles and five minutes for coffee. Several stations had lines, and there was only one working coffee machine – the other was broken for both days of my stay. Staffing was clearly insufficient; only one female attendant was constantly clearing tables and clearly overwhelmed. I arrived at the restaurant at 9 AM. On the first day, I wanted soy milk, but was told they were out and would get some from the kitchen. I finished my meal and still didn't see any soy milk. On the second day, sticky rice was gone by 9:30 AM. While I understand that the hotel rooms are old and some facilities might not work perfectly, the flickering overhead light that was never repaired is unacceptable. Their service awareness is also frustrating. On the first day, the front desk asked me to add them on WeChat. I thought it might be a hotel concierge sending check-in info or travel tips, so I added them. However, I didn't receive a single message during my two-day stay. Yet, within half an hour of checking out, they called asking for a good review. I was on the highway when I got the call from the Ningbo hotel, thinking I might have left something behind. I rushed to answer, only to find out they wanted a positive review. They then followed up with several more WeChat messages and texts asking for a good review. With this kind of 'service,' I honestly can't give a good review, sorry."
