Hotels in Arima Onsen Hotspring, Nishinomiya

The hot spring hotel is relatively old-fashioned, and there are no bathrooms in the rooms, so if you want to take a shower you have to go to the large public bath, but the women's bath is not very big, so you have to wait in line, and the hot spring pool is not big either! You might as well try it if you want to stay overnight and have two meals. Dinner is kaiseki cuisine, and there are staff to introduce the food. The service staff are very patient in explaining, and I really have to praise them! The food is good, the breakfast is authentic Japanese style, which is good! The hot spring hotel is located at a relatively high altitude, so it is a bit far to go to Arima Onsen. It is best to take the hotel bus to the hot spring area! The hot spring area closes early, so it’s best to go before 5pm!

Good hotel for relaxation and enjoying the onsen. The golden pool is hot spring salt water from the strata formed 6 mil years ago and very relaxing. Unfortunately the course dinners was much below our expectations compared to those we had at other areas similar resorts.

I'd like to have a way to get home after the shop closes, as I'm sure I'll run out of small amounts at some point. Free use of the washing machine is a nice service for travelers

I booked this place at the last minute as we wanted to extend our stay in Arima Onsen by one night and most hotels were fully-booked. I searched on *********** but couldn't find any suitable accomodation so thought to try Trip.com. This hotel came up only on this site and I was delighted to find it. At first I was concerned by the lack of reviews, but all the reviews were good and the room looked ideal for a family of four; 2 western beds and 2 tatami beds, with spacious living area and separate bathroom and toilet. It was really great value for money. The size of the room was very generous, and the facilities were great. We made use of the Onsen baths and the table tennis room during our stay. None of the staff spoke english but this wasn't an issue as they were all adept at using google translate. The location is also fine - it is situated between the town and the ropeway, so it is easy walking distance to each, which was very useful since they dont offer any shuttle service. All in all I would reccomend it for a short stay in Arima onsen as it is really good value for money.

The hotel is located on the mountainside above Arima Onsen, suitable for self-driving travelers. We recommend guests to choose the one night with two meals plan, because it is not easy to find a suitable place for dinner in Arima Onsen. Maybe because it is not the peak tourist season, many restaurants close early. I like the hotel's gold and silver baths, which are very relaxing to take a bath in. The hotel also provides free alcoholic drinks and soft drinks, as well as cozy corners for travelers to enjoy, which is also great. But what is strange is that the hotel does not accept children under the age of 12 because it wants to create a quiet environment and constantly reminds everyone to keep quiet. Unfortunately, the women who lived next door to us and several others gathered together to have fun until three or four o'clock, making it the most restless hotel we have ever stayed in. 

The overall experience was very pleasant. Environment was nice. Staffs were helpful and easy to communicate. Lots of parking space. Dinner and breakfast were nice. The onsen were also nice. We will definitely coming back.

This is our best experience for the first trip to Japan. The common tattoo-friendly onsen on the floor below the room. Two types of sources: Kin and Gin. People are few, for three trips one time crossed with other visitors. The beautiful grandfather is the owner. He can buy Arima sake and delicious cider on the spot. If the first time in the river, we advise you to read local rules and traditions in advance to avoid the stupid mistakes of the gayjin. Our mistake was that we didn't order cayseca (the dinner is served in a separate room). The rules found that orders should be made in advance, on the place we were shy as we arrived quite late. But they received a wonderful set from sashii to Izakai next door. A large room with a Japanese-style balcony. There are lots of places to store things and suitcases. They give yucts to wear after Onsen, two kinds of towels and local biscuits with a pleasant bonus. 10/10, great place to relax, quiet, calm.

Room was very big and clean with a beautiful garden outside. The private onsen was amazing. We were gifted with some food shortly after arriving which was very nice. They provide a free shuttle bus service which is also very handy.

This is quite a traditional onsen hotel, featuring both 'Gold' and 'Silver' springs. Our one-night stay for five people, including two meals, cost a total of 5000 RMB, and we were quite happy with the value. Upon arriving at Arima Station by bus, you can call the hotel for a pick-up service. Check-in is at 3 PM, leaving plenty of time to explore the small town afterwards, but be aware that most shops close by 5 PM. The Kaiseki dinner wasn't particularly impressive, but it was definitely filling.

Very nice and cosy ryokan with beautiful interiors, perfect personnel service and onsen. Private bath was great. Also we liked bath with hot water on the balcony in a room. Good location in Arima.
